what you need is time for this band, it's so complex that Jinjer can be overwhelming in every way! And both as a musician and as a music lover, for me this song is absolutely top class and after 8 years I still don't know whether to cry or laugh or scream when I hear some of Jinjer's songs, it's simply unbelievable what potential this band has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! warm greetings from the german musician
This one is quickly becoming my favourite because it is really a brave song about people struggling with alcoholism. Like David James said the "Green Serpent" is an Eastern European metaphor for alcoholism. (Tatiana has posted about her sobriety). She and the band have a lot of talent and their compositions are driving the evolution of metal but it takes guts to expose one's struggles. You will love Jinjer in concert. Great reaction as always.
Honestly we love many many bands. The warning, Battle Beast, The Halo Effect, Dynazty, Arch Enemy, Skid Row, Dio, Beyond The Black, Warkings, Lord Of The Lost, Ghost, Spiritbox, Lovebites, Majestica, Evanescence, Halestorm and Evergrey are a combination of both of our favs. There are many more.
Many of us Jinjer fans have had the experience many, many times of finding a song unsatisfying, possibly confusing, or otherwise non-resonant at first, only to discover that over time, with a bit of patience, it begins to "make sense" and become satisfying and resonant. These are the "growers". The thing about the growers is that they often tend to have the most staying power, the most ability to hold your interest and remain satisfying listen after listen. These are often the songs that we most want to share with others, but unfortunately, they aren't always the best for reactions for obvious reasons. These songs reward the patient listener. For me, "Green Serpent" wasn't a grower - it resonated immediately. Time will tell whether it has staying power, but Jinjer songs tend to do well in this respect, so it probably does. This song has some of my favourite vocal melodic composition from Tati, & I love her extensive use of her *gorgeous* head voice to hit highs in this piece, a part of her vocal repertoire that we've heard very little of before now. The section with the combined guitar & bass tapping with great tom drum groove is incredible, & I love the Opethy outro. Even the stripped down, simple chuggy riffs in the last two heavy sections are a welcome addition, as Jinjer fans usually have to struggle to head bang to Jinjer's weird rhythms & unusual, shifting time signatures (which I also love, of course). This is a *great* song, destined to be a Jinjer classic, IMO. They've already performed this song live, and it sounds great!
lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song, the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool. Also kinda sounds like an angular proggy album cut on first listen, but quickly turns out to be a banger😂😂.....also tati looks hot here 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)
I would like to or if you have time available to react "Audiotree From Nothing " but only the first 5 minutes so it doesn't become too long. It was an interview they gave about the band's journey and how difficult it was for a band from Ukraine to make it in the music world. In those first 5 minutes they play the song "Vortex" and I really liked it you could react
Thanks for the reaction. The band works way too hard. The new album comes out in February. I think Tatiana does all her own costumes and makeup as far as I know. She even did a stage makeup video about 10 years ago. Hmm. I don't know about "Stans". Just because I don't know that we want to be equated to manic Taylor Swift fans they call "Stans". Those people are kind of unhinged. Just saying I don't know that Tati would like her fanbase if they behaved like they Swifties do..

Jinjer has become my go-to band in my gym playlist, and I mix in Ignea and Infected rain. Both these bands go well with Jinjer.
Thanks UKRAINE ❤💖
I believe Tati styles herself. She is an artist through and through.
@@EmAllWasTaken she does, she also does her own awesome makeup for shows.
Correct.

Oh, no! When the drumming stops -- bass solo! (old joke)
