been watching your vids for a while now don,t you ever need gasket seal paste when putting head gaskets on good watch again thanks for the vid also can not belive you have a thumbs down bit strange keep safe
No mate, I always have some in the garage, it's very handy to have but not needed on a little 1 cylinder engine. It wouldn't be wrong by using some but it's not needed. On a bigger engine it helps hold the gasket in place while you negotiate the head install. What's your thoughts about it? Also i always get one or 2 thumbs down, it's almost definitely an ex partner 😂
Much Easier to take the engine out and rebuild it on a clean bench instead of messing around on the floor, and scuffing up new barrels on the concrete lol
Hay I’ve just had a new rebuild on my Honda ah 2012 plate Honda sh I don’t trust no Mechanic I like what u do and would like to meet up and and learn more about stuff that you know
Hi Hex, I wouldn't be able to do that mate. Its exactly the same as an air cooled rebuild except it will have a coolant gasket inside that needs to be torqued to a specific setting. Best to get a good quality gasket set aswell. Otherwise you may be better off getting a mechanic to do it. Sorry I can't help more but I can't guide someone through a rebuild. It would take hours.
Definitely best to drain the coolant and I'm unsure of your top dead center markings as they are specifically for that honda. Normally you will have an indication on the cam sprocket aswell as on the crank. Lining the 2 up will be tdc but you may have to check on the piston to make sure it's real tdc.
Thank you for teaching you, I'm getting a new Honda SH125i 2022 in two months time, But I would like turn it in to 150cc if know any video to do that, That would be brilliant, Kind Regards James Fae (from) Scotland 🏴 Part of the uk 🇬🇧 😊 👍

Its so nice to see you back I no you have to work but please please keep safe 🙏
Im as safe as possible buddy. I work with vulnerable families so do continue to work but I'm young and healthy mate.

I don't think it did actually. It was dead..

I normally put something soft on the floor. I don't actually have a bench and don't like taking engines out if I don't have to.
😂, left me in suspense!
Yep your not the only one. Still don't know if it starts. Waiting on one more part
@@motorcyclerescuer second part??
Next vid on the list mate.

Hi bro, my mates Honda pantheon piston blew, never changed a piston on a water cooled is there anyway you can contact me and give me instructions ?

@@motorcyclerescuer so if I pull all the pipes off will the coolant leak or do I need to drain it first

Hi James, funny enough I'm doing a cylinder change on Saturday and filming it which will show you mate.
I know how you feel I hate taking the engine apart the made the engine overly complicated.
I don't mind doing a top end but prefer not to do bottom ends.

What’s the best place to buy parts thanks in advance
Fowlers parts in the uk is great. I always look there first.
The suspense nah I can’t take it
Good right. I'll catch you up tomorrow

Oh really, it's easy enough to do otherwise get a mechanic to do it.
I want to buy a piston and a cylinder. I live in Morocco
Hi Mouhammed, for what bike mate?
@@motorcyclerescuer I have a Honda 150i model 2006 bike
Yes rare in 150 form.
If you can't find the 150 top end you may need to get a 125
It will be a direct swap.
You will lose a little cc though.
I see what you meant by not a nice ending! Harsh! 😂
