Most beautiful pice of music ever crafted in my opinion. A perfect one to play right in the middle of a street full of people going about their hectic busy days, to remind them of the importance of simply being still and taking time to appreciate the beauty of the world before it slips by. Beautiful rendition man! You've been blessed with an amazing ability to communicate God through sound.

Not joking, I opened the comment section to say pretty much the exact thing you said. I've never had a piece of music hit my heart and soul like this does. I imagine looking back at my life as an old man with this playing

I think the same. I play piano and thankfully I can play this. It's a piece you never learn, if that makes sense. It's just so magical it's indiscribable. I love classical music and there are certainly much much more complicated pieces than this, but this piece just seems to hit every single emotion, and is somehow universal. Whoever you are, wherever you are, if you here this piece, something gets activated within you. It's lovely to know what a human being can be capable of. RIP Claude Debussy and thank you x

The older people standing there always get me..I feel a tear.. I wrote a poem listening to this on how an old man hears this piece..and it always gets me man.. wonderful piece...thank you for this. Here's the poem
On a busy street where a thousand faces pass by
The melody that strung my heart; plays
Among the bustle and haste, my ears rejoice
Arpeggios tingle through the soul, as I am tranced
Calming notes pick up my feet towards this peace
A young man playing those notes, a crowd around him
My mind is encompassed around this daze
Barely standing on my frail legs, I clutch my stick
Gently he traced over the ivory and wood, smiling
Watching the world go silent, as the stranger played
I see us, under the moon, dancing slowly
As the song entwines us and the moonlight
When young and when old, your eyes my sanity anchors on to
Now alone with a thousand lives, we watch him play
Tears trickle down my wrinkled cheeks, my heart longing
To feel your warmth once again, your lips, once again
As the song comes to an end, I see it touch everyone
Faces of sorrow, faces of love, faces of happiness
Stranger who none knew, how you impact our lives
He stands up, coming towards this old man, I say
"And for five minutes, everything was just fine."
    - Zammil

This song makes me feel so at peace and comfortable, it’s funny because the reason is because if The Evil Within game, that room you went to in the mirrors were like the only safe place in the game and Clair de lune was playing all the time there, I loved the game so maybe it had more of an impact on me, but now the song is so peaceful

just look at all those people. all those lives, the guy holding his girls shoulder in the back. The blink of an eye and it's gone. So strange we see a brief piece of history and we're gone. Concious to the ways of the universe and our finite state. We love, we hate, theres peace, and war, we laugh, we kiss, we write beautiful music to express this exact feeling. Man. I'm truly blessed to have witnessed and been a part of what makes our reality. & deeply from the bottom of my human heart, I love you all. & I hope you all find happiness, peace, love, hate, friendship. Experience it all. It's what the rides all about. BUT, treat each other with respect and remember how small you are in the cosmic scale.

JacksonM It doesn’t stop you from at least looking and reacting. The problem with this world is that people run after their future instead of living their present, and what we’re living at the moment is not a coincidence, as nothing happens by coincidence. We have been called to order from Mother Nature. Nothing will change and get better unless people wake up.
You should watch on UA-cam the documentary which came out yesterday called “Out Of Shadows”. Very interesting.

Well... I know that this video is quite old but I have a question. Why people just was going around and they didn't stop? I mean... In general, we still running for something and we just "don't have a time." But it's the fact or actually it's not? Then... Why are we in constant hurry? This masterpiece, great music is so breathetaking and some of these people just ignored it like it was nothing.

So many people milling about, being treated to possibly the most beautiful piece of music ever written, and not one of them cut just SHUT UP for 5 minutes of their lives. I don't get it.
