Getting to Know Children's: Dearth Tower

Dearth Tower is a general pediatrics unit designed to meet the special needs of acute and chronic infant to young adult patients. The nursing staff provides skilled nursing assessment of patient and family needs, patient and family education, pre and post-operative nursing care utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach. Their teams include physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapist, social workers, pharmacist, nutritionist, physical and occupational therapist, and child life specialist.
