👍, nice clean yabbies, thou a vinegar,salt and pepper pickle is the way to go, soaked for a day in the fridge of course. After that it's hard to walk past the fridge without pinching one or two.
Might have a look out old alluvial lease we had, got a huge dam that we have been stocking with old bait(yabbies) when not used for years.
Last year we pull a couple of twenty letter buckets in a few pulls, and there still good detectable gold and washing gravels there as well.
That sounds delicious, they wouldn't last long with me around🤣. Damn that's the go, I need to stock my dam. I tried in there a few times but not a yabbie to be seen.
We call them crayfish. Either way they are good 🤤🤤

Here in South Louisiana we have a little experience in what you call yabbies, except we call'em mudbugs (crawfish) and eat the shit out of them.
I watch a lot of crawfish boils on UA-cam, looks bloody amazing the way you guys do it. I need to give it a go that way!
