I been to Singapore recently a family trip it was really fun and i felt really safe there even when i am using my iPhone 15 Pro nothing happens and even walking at nights my first time in Singapore would definitely love to come back again
Another fun video, like !! 👍🏻
agree so much with "Car Park". I was so confused the first time I heard it since it sounds similarly to Kapak in indonesia which mean axe lol
🤣🤣
elsa is a game-changer for me!!! I have learned with Elsa for 3 years since I was a college. And when I got to work, I quite confidently spoke to foreigners
Highly recommend it for you guyssss
Following your videos for 2 years alrdy..your singlish have gain grounds, especially when you converse with locals, foreign visitors or even your in laws, I am convinced you have improved tremendously...
Ah thank you 😆

Hope you liked it!!
atas is the word for up in malay and indonesian.... so it can literally mean up/tall and people use it to describe high end or something is 'up there'.
Hi Ghib , its funny that S Shi o k, that Shiok 😅, when i visit Sing as a tourist a long time ago i learn the Lah,, and i used it until now , maybe becoz in indo we say it too that lah,, singlish is very fun n practical hehe,, thks for the fun vlog Ghib, Huat Ah,, 😇👍😅

Singapoor is weird. English is weird.
It's kind of surprising.
But part of it is I think is you just get used to it(?) which is not necessarily a good or bad thing.
Atas and Makan are actually Malay terms.
Singlish is ‘an informal variety of English spoken in Singapore, incorporating elements of Chinese and Malay’ - Oxford dictionary. These words Are recognised as Singlish.
did no one win the $100 :(
Good wood Park=グッウッパ
本当にそんな感じですw
@@GhibOjisan シンガポの発音に慣れてない奥さんが行き先を言うと99%聞き返されます笑
I was there during your filming
then why u didn’t makan his $100 ?
Come say hi next time!!
The way you pronounced Carpark in English is Kar-paku? Now, isn't that Japanese English?! 😅
"Bo Jio" is the first time I heard that phrase. Sounds like it originated from hokkien?
Yes , it’s a Hokkien phrase .
Why is SG ppl favourite Japanese dish to order in Japan ?
Crab Hotpot.
Cos....
Say it literally in Japanese to your wife and see how she react.
Opps.
Lah lor. Ley meh.... sentence end connotation
Buay tahan..... cannot endure.....you agh..how can like this to me....buay tahan your pattern ley
Hey, Ghib OJISAN. You married a Singaporean 🇸🇬 wife and you pick up Singlish, like me I am also married to a Singaporean 🇸🇬 wife, but I didn’t / never picked up any Singlish from my wife 🧐.
By the way… you missed out KIASU (afraid to lose) and KIASI (afraid to die).
You might know that in Japan 🇯🇵, when girls are shocked or scared of something, they shout out “KIA !”
Maybe your wife never use Singlish? It’s contagious so if she speaks sure you pick up one!!
I want to go to Pi Pa Pak,
some SG are lazy but fast speakers,
What he really means is, "I wants to go to People's Park (Chinatown)
This video is so shiok to watch.
These are mainly malay words! Singlish is n still oversold.
Atas is a malay word for high-class. Atas is not singlish.
Lol don't lie lah you totally got it wrong some are just Malay while others are dialect they are not Singlish.
Singlish vernacular uses a lot of Malay and dialect words tho. But I suppose the spirit of Singlish is the beats and the stressors that aren’t found when speaking with ang mohs, which is somewhat lacking here.
You are wrong. Oxford definition of Singlish:
An informal variety of English spoken in Singapore, incorporating elements of Chinese and Malay.
Obviously malay and chinese words are part of singlish. Please read up on what defined as Singlish before sounding like a fool 🙄
@@thewalk7816 erm you do need to brush up a bit on your english. Elements of chinese and malay, if it is chinese and malay then it won't be elements neither will it be "another" language. Atas and makan are 100% malay rather than singlish with element of malay.
@@LVPictures Oh really?
TODAY news 13/9/2016 : More SINGLISH words added to Oxford English Dictionary ‘Ah Beng, ..ang pow, ATAS…’
Google is free, use it. Educate yourself.
Makan is a malay word for eat. It is not Singlish. Singlish is poor english.
Singaporean can speak proper English but singlish is our own identity that consolidates the 3 ethnic groups: mainly Chinese & malay.
The behind the scenes is so sad, there weren't any japanese people
Yeah I think due to cheap yen… I miss seeing them in big numbers..
