On March 28, 2022, Irpin, which held back the enemy on the way to the capital, was liberated and received the status of "Irpin - Hero City". This was preceded by battles, as a result of which 70% of the social and residential infrastructure of Irpen was destroyed. These events are reflected in the film "Irpin Outpost", the basis of which was video footage shot on mobile phones by direct participants of the February-March 2022 events.
