The same guys that were utilizing integration to purchase ProV1's just a few years ago are now personally getting wedge fittings with Bob Vokey and playing Pinehurst with sponsors. What a run. Kudos to you boys.

just listened to the "integration" pod. What a brilliant piece of advice. And yeah, kudos to these fellas. Living the dream and sharing their experiences with us. So stoked I found them. Love everything about them all. Infectious laughs and brilliant production. Lenny is legit badass.

Cool wedge fitting with Vokey. What's next, oil change with Henry Ford?

Thanks for the video. I just tried these tips and…it worked! Now practice is a whole other ballgame but if me, a terrible golfer, can grasp this concept in a few minutes I can’t imagine what I would learn if I could spend an afternoon with Bob.

This is another awesome piece of knowledge that I'll never fully get my head around. I have no doubt that in time this skill will drive me insane, just like all the other skills I never seem to master.

We needed to hear more from Bob himself!

I took this technique to my course today and shot +1 (from the forward tees as a 12 hcp). My chips were much more accurate and checking much more. In classic Chasing Scratch fashion, I was -1 and bogied the last two holes. So yea, Bob is right. Thanks for the video fellas.

not sure if anyone noticed at 4:11 when B.V. is doing his "thump" demo, he is only using his RIGHT hand to throw the wedge at the ball 😉this is super important when learning how to use bounce angle correctly

At 4:38 in the video is the key to a balanced swing no matter which club.

Titelist should put Mr. Vokey on a commercial telling people to open the face. Just have him say "I built that wedge, you are using it wrong". Trying to get my friends learning the game to open the face when they pitch is like pulling teeth!

Number 3: Thump the trailing edge w/ Bob's *thump* and Eli's "Mmmmmmmm" is the best! This should be a series. You did what takes most 30 mins, 7 mins. Not 6, but 7. (And to be totally transparent. I will binge 30 and 7 equally.) Kudos!

So long as you are not using more shaft lean than you have bounce, having the ball back in your stance is absolutely safe and you can hit the ground first. See Dan Grieve book on this method.

That's only for DG's Release 1, when you Want the Ball to Roll Out.
And even then "Ball Back with extra Shaft Lean" is a specialty variation of Release 1.

I see the new wedge Wednesday is sticking. Corey should just follow you around and provide a new wedge (with plastic intact) after every wedge shot. No groove is as clean and grippy as a NEW groove. #LGLG
