We respected his WWII & Korean military service of 13 years, as a soldier in the 82nd Airborne, 5 of his 7 brothers served. One Gold Star brother. My Best to this soldier & his family for his service, sacrifice and courage.

Like the Delta Force Operator you just had on your show that was in Mogadishu during the Black Hawk Down incident, said, "Using Night Vision On Operations While The Other Guys Don't Have Them, Is Like Cheating" ... Night Vision is a game changer even tho it doesn't allow you to see 100% clearly it's pretty damn good considering its night time and hard as shit to normally see. Night Vision must have, at the very least, a little ambient light to allow the NVs to operate properly. A common misconception is that Night Vision can see even in complete pitch darkness but that is not true. Now Thermal Imaging sights are a different story, as even in complete darkness with absolutely no type of light at all, you can still see and pick up on warm blooded creatures immediately and easily. Thermal scopes really changed the game when it comes to hunting animals or humans. Thermals aren't cheap but I would say they are well worth the price for what they allow you to do.
I got out of the military in 2015. Man, I wish I did more. Hearing stories of regular people answering calls that they didn’t have to, makes me wish I stayed in and pushed for more.
