Stocking thousands of fish in my pond!

- Anderson Bait Company delivered 30 lbs. of golden shiners directly to my pond. Over the past couple of summers, I have stocked fathead minnows and crawfish. I wanted to try something new. Hopefully, these will survive long enough to spawn. With hungry bass and crappie waiting, it will be a struggle.

Not yet. A few 5 pounders. But they are growing

@@fishingwithjohn5642 My primary rod is a great all around set up. It is the Lew's Speed Spool. It will cost around a $100 but if you go any cheaper than that, you will be frustrated. You need one with a good braking system and you get what you pay for. This reel will let you throw most baits you would fish anywhere around here.

@@fishingwithjohn5642 100% Fluorocarbon most of the time. I currently have 14 lb line on it but I change that based on what I am doing. P Line Tactical is some of the best. I have P Line Halo right now. It is expensive but worth it.
