i think the corvus nerf was unnecesary, he already struggles healing teammates consistently due to his cooldown feeling wonky at times, if anything i would have liked to see him get a second or even half a second off his right click
its because you're not supposed to heal unmarked targets. The cooldown for heal is refunded 1s when you heal a marked target, and mark CD is already only like 1s. So, assuming you're playing spreading influence, you mark two targets, heal the one that needs more healing, and you get a refund. Then you swap mark to someone else that needs healing. Also have to make sure to always run the card that increases the healing a marked target receives when they are healed indirectly. Using this strategy of swapping mark to who i am targeting with my heal is how i manage over 120k heals while playing stun Corvus
@@Randomness662 even by following that particular strategy most of the times your healing its not even as impactful as teammates end up dying before being able to heal them properly even though theres a cd refund that you can also shorten with chronos and this goes to both marked and unmarked allies, imo he had been falling behind many other supports and this change seems unwarranted atp youre better of following the meta instead of playing niche characters for fun lol
Really they need to rework how his healing functions, I like the mark system but it's kind of worthless to heal unmarked teammates unless you're running dark gifts and even then it's usually better. I don't really like that corvus just tends to perform objectively better when playing as a DMG flex with his stun talent
I think Corvus was in a perfect place and didn't really even need to be touched
@@mattdrummond3552 I agree with this. He had his place in the meta, certain situations were really good to have him on. But nerfing his relatively low burst healing, and his damage too? Why? His fire rate was one of my favorite things about him like why tf lol. I can't believe they decided to nerf heals and "increase" damage instead of dealing with the real problem which was DR across the board. They didn't really touch the actual DR values for the items, and a lot of champions still have some of the most busted DR cards (or shield cards *cough* Dredge). Healing isn't as impactful as DR in late game so this entire patch missed the mark so hard. RIP Corvus, and RIP all the other supports too
Reworking Moji from a flank to a healer is wild. Out of any champion, if one them should have gone healer instead of flank it would have been Kasumi in my opinion
Also, since they seem to not be afraid of letting healers actually heal with their weapons, I'm still waiting for Pip's "combat medic" talent to become basekit
This update will no doubt send Lillith straight down to the bottom of the support tier list. I might be biased as she is my most played character but taking so much out of her hp pool while keeping the blood cost of her swarms at the similar threshold will force her into becoming a single playstyle backline support that can only send swarms into the battlefield while staying on the safe side herself. This means that her second (and arguably the most fun) talent maelstrom will lose all of its viability and become unusable. You cannot dive the enemies when you're that much of a glass cannon and increasing the blood cost of swarms takes even the "cannon" part out of the equation. You also cannot stay on the objective healing your allies with the new squishy hp pool so you are forced to pick one of the remote swarm builds. They said the aim of this all is to make her more versatile but in reality they just took her only real alternative playstyle away... ":D"
I haven’t played Lilith in a while because she was definitely one of the harder ones to get right. After seeing these changes I picked her back up to enjoy her before she gets butchered. I regret it because learning her properly has been fantastic. Not looking forward to this patch…

@@DeputyFish I doubt there's a need to explain why nuking the HP pool of the only champion in the game who uses her own health in order to use her base abilities down to the same level as any ordinary support champion is a disastrous idea:D I mean imagine someone like Io having to use her health to heal her team, deploy Luna or even leaping away from fights. Yeah...

After checking the wiki, Lillith swarm cost 825 which is lower than the PTS (500 to 800 hp) and there's still card that reduce Swarm blood cost
Lillith having Wing of Terror (movement of wing) card getting reworked, reduced self sustain and reduced blood hp would kill Maelstorm playstyle. The only benefit is Lillith get more hp when marking enemies
As a lillith main if these updates ship out im just uninstalling..
the 450 hp per kill isn't a buff btw, she used to heal 1000 if an enemy got killed prior

I'm a little biased as I am a flank Moji main and I'm happy more people are gonna be able to play her but i'm kinda bummed about this rework. I adored her flank playstyle and I spent hours mastering it. I don't wanna be that guy who hates on all the new changes and stuff, but I feel as if all the time I put into Moji is now wasted as she now is almost completely different to the character I chose to master. I personally think they should of added a new champion like healer Moji rather then just flat out rework her to fulfil a different role cause it's kinda annoying, playing a champion for so long only for her to be completely changed. But oh well, can't wait for Maeve to be reworked into a healer or Evie be reworked into a front line.
I feel is they made her be able to choose her animal to either play flank or support would've been better or just made an echo champ of a version of her being a healer, it would've have made moji mains like myself upset and literally split the community into 2 lol
I personally really like it because at some point, no matter if one or two people play a character, if they're annoying, weak by design or don't really fill a roll the devs wanted, it's nice to shake it up by changing a champ without ADDING more to a game that has 59 Champs at the moment.
Definitely feel bad for you, but you have to think she's been constantly one of the least played champions for a long time. You're definitely the minority of people upset but this change.
I'm actually happy they're reworking maps, game modes, and old unplayed champions rather than adding a half finished buggy champion literally every patch.
@@venusdied6452 yea, the only changes I’m disappointed in is the magic mark and the shield. If they had just kept that in one talent but reduce the healing she does id be fine with that.

Those Lilith changes... I'm rly not a fan of them, some of them I'm ok with but there's still a lot that seem to just ruin her, I'm worried about them a lot :')

ehh the supp changes feel weird. I never played a support and thought "man if only i healed for less and did more damage". It just feels like theyre making supports diet damages.
time to kill is way too long rn, starting to feel like overwatch
@@1_Limbo ttk is fine especially when caut is maxed out. get their healers quick and it's easy. buffing support damage isn't the right move imo.

I think what would increase the life of this game is that specific champions could change classes. Like you could pick healer moji or flank moji while having your 3 specific talents. Healer viktor with like medical pacs, damage IO where she rides luna. Just a thought

Please just let me like a character, I enjoyed liltith and Moji and they both get changed. The changes in game are always confusing and some unwanted changes.
TL;DR evil mojo can just take support Moji frame work and make an echo character thats a support and give flank Moji a minor revork.
I am not a fan of the Moji rework. It doesn't feel like a rework it feels more like a replacement.
The spit just feels worse to use imo, barrier is a new ability altogether, scamper feels worse to use without the b-hops and the only things that feel like Moji are her ult and spray to a lesser extent.
I am not saying it because Im a Moji main, in fackt I dont main her. Whats funny to me is that in the past I was on board of the Moji rework, but in 2023 I started to play moji from time to time and my opinion changed from being in favor of major class rework to a minor standard one. So to sum it up (imo) Moji just needs 10% player model and 15% hitbox reduction with a small speed/scamper buffs, because its okay to have unique and more situational champions in a game that has 59 of them. Also evil mojo can just take support Moji frame work and make an echo character thats a support a win/win scenario.

The damba healing buff gives him 2,75 more ticks of healing on top of the CD decrease so he's gonna be crazy to play
As a pip player seeing the key words removed hurt my soul. Dosent this mean he gets a flat nerf to every talent with no compensating buffs.
No, he's literally just going back to what he was pre-keywords, minus 50 healing on CM.
I hope they revert the Moji rework and actually make her a good flank. I like how Moji plays, it's one of my most played champions, I just want *improvements* to her kit, specially on her talents.
People are gonna eat it up cause she looks like she’s gonna be a busted healer. So she’s most likely gonna be op until she’s drastically nerfed and then she’ll be forgotten again. This time not as a fun champ to play. It’s a shame cause more movement probably would made her a lot more playable.

What does that build number means?
the best changes are the recolors skin selector and the new tutorial giving you 2 free characters! I like some of the buffs like the ones to omen, furia, seris and grover but we will see how it will look in the final version. the saati nerfs are a bit worrying, I hope she will still be playable and not too underpowered
I enjoyed Moji when I played her why didn't they change someone like Vivian 😢
My guess as to why they don't change Vivian is so that they have a really easy to play champion to get in new players. Same with Viktor.

I haven't played paladins in a while, is corvus broken or something? I remember him being just ok. Why'd he get nerfs. More importantly, why'd he get not a single buff to compensate.

The pellet spread system for shotguns still feels iffy to me since it only feels like a hot fix for heavily inconsistent damage. A fixed bullet spread (like in Competitive TF2; Pubs have random spread) would reward players who play at the intended range of their primary, while allowing good players to count damage numbers more efficiently and take advantage of chip damage at-range when needed.
Edit: The power shift from healing to damage on Supports may have a negative impact depending on the level of experience. Newer players who haven't touched a hero shooter might play them like glass cannons, while Rejuvenate and any health/healing-related items would be relied on heavier at higher levels because of late-game antiheal.

In my opinion, it is a very bad idea to change a DPS character into a healer, but apparently they had no idea how to balance it properly.
I just think it's crazy how nearly every support received a heal number nerf but Moji drops in with 1800hps *in base kit*
Could have just remove snack attack and replace it with this new one. 😢 still like to flank as her :(
How to play it
The voices sound like they are in a room. Lowest quality voices as of recent.
Hexing enemies is now good if you're extremely low and need to fall back, you can regen a tad more hp than before, otherwise not much value there.
The thing with Rei is that her cooldown starts right away rather than waiting for bounces to finish.

The expanded REI no longer needs the shortening of the chain heal due to the card, and I believe this is a misadjustment.

Sometimes they get things right like the new limited time mode even the Skins are nice moji rework there's something that is just not right like the movement ability with no cooldown and even her Magic Barrier so it's like two survivabilities and a 2400 hp
We still don't know but if you look at it on paper it's kind of overpowered
And the support it is basically like a new meta and I think that this studio don't know how to balances supports

Nope, she is meta next patch if they dont adjust her numbers. Her off supp is weaker than flank moji but it can still kinda work. For the off support i suggest they bring back her magic barrier

She needed balance and tweaks to her talents and abilities, not being erased from existence.

Everyone in the comments are all bent out of shape, meanwhile I'm just here glad keywords getting removed was the only change made to Pip. Kinda wish they would have added the 50 extra healing back to CM, but it being at 700 isn't going to make or break.

As someone who played on switch for like three or four years, who got new character after new character and very little meaningful bug fixes (audio was bad, game crashed after three games bc switch hardware, and then eventually at the start of any game no matter what, yago was a week late to being launched on switch, etc etc) I'd rather have the character rework than another new character. It's unpopular but I think cauterize needs to be lowered in late game with the restraint comps should only be allowed to have one healing talent. Too many stomps, too many healers just going damage talents bc healing isn't rewarding or meaningful past the second round, the time to kill feels like it's increased by fifty percent since I've started playing. The moji rework feels in line with those changes over time. Not quite a good or full healer, but a useful damage champion for late game.

I'm happy that this game is not being dropped by the devs like many said in the past
I don't even play anymore since a year now, and i had hopes when i'd come back it'd be intereting to learn again, and that is exactly what's happening
Characters will play and feel differently, and some old crap seems gone, i can only see it as positive (regardless of what i think about items and balancing and character changes) (even though i will forever hope for a lian rework because rifle is amazing, aimbot sucks)
And i'm glad i can get all that info from thsi channel so thx a lot and keep it up andrew ^^
