Gardening in South Carolina Gardening Zone 7b 8a

We love gardening in South Carolina! The weather is warm enough to garden most of the year, as it does get below freezing (some years) but it doesn’t last and the ground doesn’t freeze. So thankful for that! This is from our last garden home, just outside of Summerville, SC. The soil was mostly clay and very wet. We brought in a lot of good soil to the gardens and yard. We planted for the moist conditions and had a thriving garden. Don’t be fooled - it was not without weeds and grass hopping “the line” into the flower beds… we love it anyway. That wet soil was such a challenge! Especially when the grass started in. (We are in sand country now.) Anyone deal with something similar? 😅🌿
