Bull 💩 I way prefer the Kawasaki. And generally I am a Yamaha fan. I ride an R1, my runabout is a GP 1800 SVHO. It is simple, SXR is the clear winner. The Yamaha is not really good at anything, it is not really a good play / trick ski, it does not carve overly well and it has a cheesy feeling quality about it. The Yamaha needs mods to even carve a decent turn. It jumps wakes better then the Kawi but if you are at a level you really want to go out and jump wakes you probably want a 2 stroke super jet! You saying the Kawi is sluggish is a complete load of poop, The Kawi is a beast of a carving machine that is really good at what it does. Buy a SXR for your missions and get a separate older play ski.
I'm gonna push back on you just a bit. I have an SXR and regularly ride the SJ. The sxr is faster and quicker and if you're chasing bouys it's the way to go, but the sj is more fun to throw around, I also have no issue throwing keys to anyone for the SJ whereas the SXR I gotta remind them it's an angry ski.
@@badm0t0rf1ng3r Man I throw total newbs on my SXR all the time. It is easy because it balances better and you can chug along at slow speeds and the throttle is so linear. The SJ does nothing really well, yes it is mildly more playful but like I said above, if you want playful get a 2 stroke and forget the not good at anything four stroke. With the Kawi if you want to tour it is a great machine for that and it will carve like a beast. Now don't get me wrong both are nice machines but the guy that made this video made the Kawi seem like junk. The Yamaha is way more fun and the Yamaha is a legend, LoL.... Ummm yeah right!!!!
