I have Pianoteq Studio. The Kawai sounds really convincing. There must be a reason why 8 or 9 prestigious piano makers including Steinway, Bosendorfer, Grotian, Bluthner, and Kawai have authorized Modart to use their name in their marketing. It's especially amazing as Kawai makes digital grand pianos with their own samples.
In my opinion, it sounds too thin at the top end , kinda synthetic, I prefer sampled pianos, check out Strezovs velvet grand Modal B, or ik Multimedia , at home I have U1, and digital yamaha p525 , that's why I don't like Roland's piano , great hammer action , not true sounding. P.s. Beautiful playing Doctor as always , thanks for a video
Thank you!! I have played sample-based pianos, and some of them sound superb. I really exposed the highs in this video, and I know what you’re saying. I like the mid-register and the lows of both Kawai Steinway a lot. In my case, they fit my music well. What I like the most is the ability to sculpt the sound and randomize a long list of parameters, plus the control over the condition of the piano - that's probably why I keep coming to it.
The sound is still not right in my opinion, in the middle register especially where it sounds very plastic-ish... the technology behind it is so amazing, though.
He's back!!
I’m posting every day !! Check my short videos 😀

Totally agree! like I said to me this technology makes it a real musical instrument. I love the randomization options in the pro version!
yes, i saw someone else speaking of this , it sounds amazing. My main daily piano i use is the good old Piano in Blue for Kontakt.
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure! Thanks for watching 😊

If you back off hammer hardness of ”forte” it gets rid of the thinness. Also, move the condition slider 1-2 clicks to the right
