He is credited (maybe, credited himself) with writing the narration for the spoken word album Elvis: The Sun Years. However, the words were actually lifted from Roy Carr's liner notes on RCA's LP "The Sun Sessions." A bootlegger and plagiarist.

This has nothing to do with the video but I just realized something I didn't know before. You know how sometimes you might find some rare Elvis live performance that you'd never heard before? Well I was laying here and it just occurred to me. I never heard Elvis sing Viva Las Vegas live in the 70s. So I'm thinking he spent so much time in Las Vegas he had to do it at least once. So I start to search and I can't find anything. And then I'm like wow he did a residency in Las Vegas for multiple years and never once sang Viva Las Vegas live that's crazy.
Wild, right? But it makes more sense when you think about just how few of his movie songs he did in Vegas at all; Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, and Can't Help Falling In Love were really the only ones to see rotation, and those probably because they were in the 68 Special and were massive chart toppers. If I were to hazard a guess, he might have thought doing Viva would have been too "on the nose."
Really cuz Johnny said in his book that he was singing with the group just in a higher key to try to match Elvis. So Johnny actually claims he was there and singing.
I have one of the million dollar quartets records that you showed on your show. I believe the one that you have is a newer one I have one that I got from poplar tunes in the early eighties it has the same picture only it's printed different more like a bootleg I believe my copy is the first copy released I believe I paid $20 or $25 for it I believe my copy is a true bootleg

Also can you imagine if someone had recorded Elvis with the Beatles...you ask any of the Beatles and they all tell a different story...only Paul says they jammed...Ringo and George say they didn't ...is there even a photo of them together?
That would have been amazing, John! And yeah, their stories don't match up, it's interesting. Sadly, there's only one picture, and it's when the Beatles are leaving the house - but nothing else that we've seen so far!

The first issue (bootleg), had a red cover. What you show is the semi - official Charly copy from some years later.

He might have sung a bit while they were taking pictures by the piano for the paper, but he's not anywhere on the recording, sadly.
