Higher dimensionality is 100% not a crazy claim or something that is impossible for AoT, it literally is what Ymir/The Founding Titan is and here's why: We live in 3 Dimensions. Length, width, height. It makes the 3D world that we can interact with and traverse. The 4th dimension is time. We can perceive and conceptualize the passage of time, but are not able to interact with it or traverse it. It is just a thing that happens to us in a linear way. A 4th dimensional being simply experiences time in the same way we do the space around us. Everything is just right there happening all at once, going to the future or the past is as simple as walking into the kitchen from your living room, as is demonstrated many times in the later parts of AoT's story. It is explained this is how Ymir/The Founder experiences time, and this 100% makes them a 4th dimensional being, which is essentially godhood. This is explained over and over again in AoT, and is the driving force behind the plot. You were always right about that 4th dimensional comment you made, don't let anyone make you doubt that.
It's no wonder AOT was so confusing for me at first: we as humans cannot comprehend time fully it seems, and when such elements are added into a story, it can make things very complex. Kinda adds an element of cosmic horror when you realize that Eren is a 3D being seeing time as if he were 4D.
The thing is Ymir is stuck on the Paths. And the best she can realistically do there is watch events through the eldian eyes and make titan forms for eldians that are being turned into titans. She basically also is technically strip of all her powers since 7 living eldians had been interesting her 7 powers ever since she was dead.
Mikasa is still an eldian so it doesn't prove that Ymir can affect non-eldians. And goku and ichigo both have higher dimensional ap so they could still one-shot her

I dont think it's at all a conscious limitation, but the founder, whatever it is, seems to respond to its hosts desires in some way. Ymir's manifested in titan power. We really dont know the limits
Why would she limit herself. When she wanted to help her loved one to conquer world. It would be alot easier to manipulate everyone with her powers to bow down to king fritz, if there ever was this self put limitation. I mean what are we even arguing about. So when her children ate her spine and got her power transferred to them creating the titan shifters, creating the whole path thing and ymir as she is i think xD So Ymir was listening to the king's orders to empower his people, the eldians, with titan powers. And I am not sure but I think Ymir has very limited contact with the real world and she just kept on executing the king's commands to provide eldians with titan powers. thing is not only is goku an alien which sort of gives a gray area on ymirs abilities, he has higher dimensionality too, arguabl higher then ymir's. Also ymir being stuck in the paths and not bound by time kinda makes her getting into a fight with someone like naruto kinda stupid. Yeah I don't think she can beat goku either because goku is just too overpowered. There's a possibility that she herself, knowingly or unknowingly, placed the eldian restriction on herself since the source of her power, the Hallucigenia existed long before the eldian race was created
I think your confused as to what higher dimensionality means. We exist in three dimensions, height length, and width. Time is the fourth dimension. We can perceive it and conceptualize it, but we cannot interact with it. It is just something that happens to us. For beings on the fourth dimension, time exists for them just as our three dimensions exist for us. A being that exists in the fourth dimension would be able to travel through time just as you would be able to walk forward. This is shown with Ymir, but never with Goku. Sure, Goku is an alien but he still exists in three dimensions. Also I am curious to know what you mean when you say that Ymir being able to connect other races to the paths contradicts the plot.

interesting but you have to know that fiction is vastly expanding so there is No one character than can solo fiction. Also characters like goku and wally west have traveled multiple thousands of times faster than light so i don't see how some characters have time to do anything
The thing is most of the powers you mention that Ymir can do like "anatomy and mind manipulation" only can affect "eldians". She is also already dead so she can only very have a limited thing she can technically do within the paths to affect the real world and she will still need the current founding titan holder to manifest her powers. Add that she was raised and manipulated with having an eternal slave mindset which is the biggest shackle for Ymir since she ended up relying on others to do the hard decisions for her in the end.
well I don't think she needs to founder to manifest her powers. Every pure titan is created by Ymir but not necessarily by the founder. She can just create a body for herself to inhibit, heck she can even create a kilometer-tall titan body. All she needs is motivation, the reason she didn't do much was definitely because of her obsession with king fritz and her slave and docile psyche(which you were correct to point out). the hallucigenia definitely has control over ALL life, including animals. But Ymir herself has (knowingly or subconsciously) placed that restriction that it affects only eldians. Mikasa ending Eren was what freed her from her "Stockholm syndrome-esque" attraction to King Fritz. But rather than going out guns blazing, she simply disappeared from existance

Yes, she is "the molder" of all the Titan forms for all eldian if ever they turn into titans, but that is because that is technically the curse or the price to pay for her receiving the power to the hallucegenia thing. "Dead Ymir" is limited on what she can do compared to "Living Ymir", especially since basically her powers is te hnicallu divided and are given to the "Current Living titan". The best Ymir can do within the Paths to interact with the real world is mostly to peak into their minds (E.g. Ymir is constantly watching specific moments in Mikasa's life) Like finally Eren has awoken Ymir's will to do something and the best Ymir could do is wish for Mikasa do the choice she can't make in the past. Like full on resurrection isn't part of the founding powers. Just take a look at the summoned previous Titan holders. They are reduced to a state that barely have a sense of will on their on. Even those awoken by Zeke can't even actually communicate (meaning that the things they can do is limited compared to their living self) Dying is still a thing even for Ymir. So she can't create a body she can actually "inhibit". It don't work that way. She just can't produce a "Titan body" out of thin air in the world of the living. Ymir can mold Titan bodies but that can only be manifested into the real world if the "Living Eldian designated to that Titan body actually turns into a Titan". Ymir's Living body is already dead so Ymir could not make any more Titan bodies she can actually occupy.

The thing with goku is he's a alien and has higer dimensional arguments as well you would then need to prove Ymir can affect characters of that level of power but you can't since kost beings in attack on titan are normal humans.

Ymir’s abilities only work on Eldians. Which the Ackerman are also. They have no effect on anyone else. Outside the Attack on Titan universe, the Founding Titan powers are weak in the grand scheme of anime. She’s not going to beat people like Goku, Ainz Ooal Gown, Gurren Lagan, Rimiru Tempest, Kami Tenchi etc. Most of whom have higher dimensional powers. I’m certain you overestimated how powerful the Founder is.
Someone that can beat Ymir physically (her in Titan form) is the Chainsaw Devil but he can’t defeat her in the paths because that’s outside Earth and time/space. However someone like Bill Cipher a god who can destroy dimensions in seconds can easily kill ymir and her paths
If everything said about Ymir's abilities in this video is true, then an interesting match-up would be against Wonder of U (JJBA). Long story short: WOU is the stand of Toru, and it's ability is basically Final Destination (but on crack). Anyone who pursues Toru with a harmful intent would be caught in a cycle of Calamity, with its severity depending on the intent of the pursuer, but it even goes on to competely negating the person's stats such as durability, as we've even seen raindrops become as severe as bullets. The Calamity has shown no limits, and the only thing that was shown to take him down was Josuk8's Go Beyond ability, an attack that essentially was outside the realm of existence. Alas, WOU had a phase 2... WOU would easily be able to wipe out all Titans in a flash in even the most ridiculous ways imaginable. However, I think Ymir vs WOU would most likely end up in a tie since she can't attack WOU directly, and WOU most prob won't be able to access the paths as its stated to be a realm beyond death (aside from being beyond time). Though if Ymir does manage to kill Toru by connecting the paths to him, WOU will simply enter Phase 2 and transcend Logic itself, easily being able to wipe the floor with Ymir. But I also wanna know your guys' opinions.
It would make sense that WOU is able to harm her. Wonder Of You could affect her in the paths and even just making her trip turn into a deathly accident. Of course, since she lives all time as if it already happened, this brings the question as to why she isn't dead. And well, in a world where she would eventually fights WOU, she probably would die in the paths as soon as she does so, but the effect would take place in our world at essentially a random time, since she'd die in a place where time isn't linear.
The problem with saying that phase two of WOU would beat Ymir because it transcends logic itself it that logic for a four dimensional being would be vastly different than that of a three dimensional being. For example time travel isn't logical especially in the way Ymir can do it. I would say that it depends on who's logic it defies, Ymir's or Toru's. And I don't think that it is possible for it to be Ymir's logic as WOU is presumably a three dimensional thing, making it impossible for it to interact with the fourth dimension. Ofc, I don't know much about how WOU or standard in general work, but from what I gather Ymir would win, and if I am wrong in saying that WOU wouldn't be able to interact with the fourth dimension, then I think WOU would win.
@@mangonoodlez stands are essentially physical manifestations of one's will. will is not a rational concept. let's look at logic. i won't do this in general, because i dont want to get philosophical. a stattement can be true or false (with corresponding ttruth values 1 or 0) and you can connect statements with logical operator such as AND or implication, resulting in new statements with new truth values. apply this to WOU and you can make such statements as "if you intent to harm WOU's user, you experience Calamity" (ab, "a is equivalent to b", which is a true statement for both a and b being true or false at the same time). let's assume WOU enters Phase 2 thus transcendig the bounds of this logic. now our statement can be true even tho a and b have different values which means you can experience Calamity even if you don't intend to harm WOU's user. i should add that the mathematical formulation of statement logic is independent of dimensions. if we take the argument of Ymir and WOU existing in spaces with different dimensionailty, we can assume that there's a logical statement about the interaction between 4 and 3 dimensional space (i use space here as both space as in 3D space and 4D space-time). we could also for the sake of simplicity state "WOU can't interact with Ymir inside of the paths, because it can't access the paths". as I've explained before, the statement "WOU can Interact with Ymir inside the paths, because it can't access the paths" is also true under Phase 2. sidenote if we spun this a bit further and ignored a bit of quantum physics we could assume that WOU can also exist in a state of superposition between true and false as it transcends logic. let's go back to the statement of Ymir and the paths existing outside of time and her not percieving time as linear. this is a statement. we have to assume it's true based of what we've been told. can you guess what comes next? yeah WOU Phase 2 is inherently broken as it removes one of the most well-defined mathematical concepts. without phase 2 WOU vs Ymir should end in a tie as long as Calamity is applicable in any n-dimensional space, because ymir intending to harm WOU's user will result in her experiencing Calamity. she exists outside of time which causes the death of WOU's user to always happen whilst her death is equally inevitable and is happening, will happen and has happened. i hope i could explain this whacky fiction stuff in an understandable way. edit: i forgot to cement the reasoning behind the tie even more concretely, but i have games to play

I honestly think she is still limited as we have been speculating all of this years. Like many people said already in the comments Mikasa is still an eldian so we can’t really know if the can affect nom-eldians. Unlike people i don’t think she can be defeated by Goku os Saitama, but also she can’t do anything about them really (because they are not eldians). So its a permanent “Draw” Also, i liked that you said this video has a lot of speculation and invite us to think different, unlike many other UA-camrs that are like “This is 100% canon and i am right, if you think different from this you are dumb”

Alright, time to teach some proper powerscaling: Sorry but Eren is NOT PLANETARY. Please don't say "he wiped out 80% of the human population with the Rumbling." I believe this is what you're getting confused by: Being able to destroy 80% of all humans on Earth does NOT mean you can destroy 80% of THE EARTH. In order to be considered planetary, you need to be able to completely destroy an entire planet until nothing remains, and Eren hasn't demonstrated that amount of destructive power in the entire series.

Ackermans ARE subjects of Ymir, what are you talking about. That was VISUALLY proven when Mikasa could hear Eren speak to her when the rumbling started. The Ackermans were a result of Titan experimentation, and from the way I understood it, Ymir's blood always gets passed one. E.G if a female Subject of Ymir has a child with a non male subject. And the same if a male subject, has a baby with a non female subject. So it's almost guaranteed, that whichever family the predecessors of the Ackermans were (if we assume it was some sort of genetics selective program through generations) already were subjects of Ymir, they're just immune to being turned into Titans for some reason. it's like only their mind is a subject of Ymir, while their body isn̈́'t. But Ackermans were always subjects of Ymir, possibly as the ONLY noble family, we don't know that.
that second part of the video is total nonsense, eldians are genetically different from normal humans, people can see it using a dna test, besides her powers in the real world being limited to physics, the eldians are her only outlet to the physical world, no eldian and she is stuck forever in paths, unable to do anything. Characters that can still beat Ymir: -Kirby. Specifically with the statements made in the Magolor epilogue in RTDL DX, where the Master Crown pretty much is 4th/5th dimensional, as it has been shown to not only send Magolor back in time, but also to an alternate reality in the form of TKC. If base Magolor could beat the crown, and Kirby essentially fought the crown + Magolor's own power, it's safe to assume Kirby can beat the Crown on it's own. Kirby has also fought characters on the scale of Titans, with Sectonia and the giant robots in Planet Robobot. -Doomguy. Apparently he killed the guy that created basically the christian God. And also a lot of other worlds. Like, maybe not 4D, but he probably could still clutch just due to his strength ALONE. -Godzilla. Apparently. I don't know the exact statements, but some weird Godzilla comics give him some wack shit. -(This is kind of a joke one, but hear me out) Segata Sanshiro. He is literally implied to be Kamen Rider 1, and the Kamen Rider mythos has some wacky stuff, all of which Kamen Rider 1 was a part of. There are MULTIPLE characters that Kamen Rider 1 defeated or scale to that actually have beaten 4-D+ beings, and since Segata IS Kamen Rider 1, that means Segata has those feats as well. -(This is just a complete joke)Bulk And Skull. It's like the Darth Maul vs. IASIP crew post. You just have to assume Ymir hasn't seen the Home Alone Franchise. If Bulk can somehow go to and from a literal Lost Galaxy, a feat only done by accident one time, and also once another time by a 4th dimensional being, you can make the case that Bulk is powerful enough to beat Ymir.

I’ll be honest I haven’t watched much anime so I’m not the most qualified on who she could beat but anyone who’s studied philosophy but just the concept of anything that exists outside of time is a huge logical contradiction and is thus impossible If she experiences all of time at once so past present and future it means that if she was ever going to die she would be dead right now if she was ever alive she can never be dead so ultimately she can never lose a fight at worse it would be a draw

I don't wanan be that person from the start, and also its kinda very late but.... Putting anyone and anything againts Saitama is just pointless. Saitama is the literal incarnation of our imagination. This is why he is called One-Punch Man. If he is to one-punch someone to death, it will happen. Ymir would win this fight beause in the 1st place Saitama would not want to fight her, but if they would fight, Ymir would not be able to control him, him being immune to all mental effects, as far as I know. So Saitama would win. But that just....my take in this, my version, my story. That's the fun part of theese comparing things, is that in the end, its up to the "writer" how things will turn out.

Even if it were limited to the beings she's related to, (through DNA or something), whats stopping her from just going back?, like if all life on earth has one common ancestor than as long as the creature, be it plant or animal is descended from that origin point then she should have power over it?, In theory her only limitation is the life present on earth?, so no aliens but you get the idea.
She still has limitations, Eren basically brought her on his side, and his ultimate goal was to destroy the outside world. If he wanted to, he could have then just heart attacked the rest of the world. He didn't do that because he couldn't.

Higher dimensionality is 100% not a crazy claim or something that is impossible for AoT, it literally is what Ymir/The Founding Titan is and here's why:
We live in 3 Dimensions. Length, width, height. It makes the 3D world that we can interact with and traverse.
The 4th dimension is time. We can perceive and conceptualize the passage of time, but are not able to interact with it or traverse it. It is just a thing that happens to us in a linear way.
A 4th dimensional being simply experiences time in the same way we do the space around us. Everything is just right there happening all at once, going to the future or the past is as simple as walking into the kitchen from your living room, as is demonstrated many times in the later parts of AoT's story.
It is explained this is how Ymir/The Founder experiences time, and this 100% makes them a 4th dimensional being, which is essentially godhood. This is explained over and over again in AoT, and is the driving force behind the plot.
You were always right about that 4th dimensional comment you made, don't let anyone make you doubt that.
It's no wonder AOT was so confusing for me at first: we as humans cannot comprehend time fully it seems, and when such elements are added into a story, it can make things very complex.

So Ymir was listening to the king's orders to empower his people, the eldians, with titan powers. And I am not sure but I think Ymir has very limited contact with the real world and she just kept on executing the king's commands to provide eldians with titan powers. She only experienced reality when she was fighting with eren while the rumbling is activated.

I think your confused as to what higher dimensionality means. We exist in three dimensions, height length, and width. Time is the fourth dimension. We can perceive it and conceptualize it, but we cannot interact with it. It is just something that happens to us. For beings on the fourth dimension, time exists for them just as our three dimensions exist for us. A being that exists in the fourth dimension would be able to travel through time just as you would be able to walk forward. This is shown with Ymir, but never with Goku. Sure, Goku is an alien but he still exists in three dimensions. Also I am curious to know what you mean when you say that Ymir being able to connect other races to the paths contradicts the plot.

The thing is most of the powers you mention that Ymir can do like "anatomy and mind manipulation" only can affect "eldians". She is also already dead so she can only very have a limited thing she can technically do within the paths to affect the real world and she will still need the current founding titan holder to manifest her powers. Add that she was raised and manipulated with having an eternal slave mindset which is the biggest shackle for Ymir since she ended up relying on others to do the hard decisions for her in the end.
well I don't think she needs to founder to manifest her powers. Every pure titan is created by Ymir but not necessarily by the founder. She can just create a body for herself to inhibit, heck she can even create a kilometer-tall titan body. All she needs is motivation, the reason she didn't do much was definitely because of her obsession with king fritz and her slave and docile psyche(which you were correct to point out). the hallucigenia definitely has control over ALL life, including animals. But Ymir herself has (knowingly or subconsciously) placed that restriction that it affects only eldians. Mikasa ending Eren was what freed her from her "Stockholm syndrome-esque" attraction to King Fritz. But rather than going out guns blazing, she simply disappeared from existance

Like full on resurrection isn't part of the founding powers. Just take a look at the summoned previous Titan holders. They are reduced to a state that barely have a sense of will on their on. Even those awoken by Zeke can't even actually communicate (meaning that the things they can do is limited compared to their living self)

So she can't create a body she can actually "inhibit". It don't work that way. She just can't produce a "Titan body" out of thin air in the world of the living.

Ymir’s abilities only work on Eldians. Which the Ackerman are also. They have no effect on anyone else. Outside the Attack on Titan universe, the Founding Titan powers are weak in the grand scheme of anime. I’m certain you overestimated how powerful the Founder is.

If everything said about Ymir's abilities in this video is true, then an interesting match-up would be against Wonder of U (JJBA).
Long story short: WOU is the stand of Toru, and it's ability is basically Final Destination (but on crack). Anyone who pursues Toru with a harmful intent would be caught in a cycle of Calamity, with its severity depending on the intent of the pursuer, but it even goes on to competely negating the person's stats such as durability, as we've even seen raindrops become as severe as bullets. The Calamity has shown no limits, and the only thing that was shown to take him down was Josuk8's Go Beyond ability, an attack that essentially was outside the realm of existence. Alas, WOU had a phase 2...
WOU would easily be able to wipe out all Titans in a flash in even the most ridiculous ways imaginable.
However, I think Ymir vs WOU would most likely end up in a tie since she can't attack WOU directly, and WOU most prob won't be able to access the paths as its stated to be a realm beyond death (aside from being beyond time).
Though if Ymir does manage to kill Toru by connecting the paths to him, WOU will simply enter Phase 2 and transcend Logic itself, easily being able to wipe the floor with Ymir.
But I also wanna know your guys' opinions.
It would make sense that WOU is able to harm her. Wonder Of You could affect her in the paths and even just making her trip turn into a deathly accident. Of course, since she lives all time as if it already happened, this brings the question as to why she isn't dead. And well, in a world where she would eventually fights WOU, she probably would die in the paths as soon as she does so, but the effect would take place in our world at essentially a random time, since she'd die in a place where time isn't linear.
The problem with saying that phase two of WOU would beat Ymir because it transcends logic itself it that logic for a four dimensional being would be vastly different than that of a three dimensional being. For example time travel isn't logical especially in the way Ymir can do it. I would say that it depends on who's logic it defies, Ymir's or Toru's. And I don't think that it is possible for it to be Ymir's logic as WOU is presumably a three dimensional thing, making it impossible for it to interact with the fourth dimension. Ofc, I don't know much about how WOU or standard in general work, but from what I gather Ymir would win, and if I am wrong in saying that WOU wouldn't be able to interact with the fourth dimension, then I think WOU would win.

Ackermans ARE subjects of Ymir, what are you talking about. That was VISUALLY proven when Mikasa could hear Eren speak to her when the rumbling started. The Ackermans were a result of Titan experimentation, and from the way I understood it, Ymir's blood always gets passed one. E.G if a female Subject of Ymir has a child with a non male subject. And the same if a male subject, has a baby with a non female subject. So it's almost guaranteed, that whichever family the predecessors of the Ackermans were (if we assume it was some sort of genetics selective program through generations) already were subjects of Ymir, they're just immune to being turned into Titans for some reason. it's like only their mind is a subject of Ymir, while their body isn̈́'t. But Ackermans were always subjects of Ymir, possibly as the ONLY noble family, we don't know that.

-Kirby. Specifically with the statements made in the Magolor epilogue in RTDL DX, where the Master Crown pretty much is 4th/5th dimensional, as it has been shown to not only send Magolor back in time, but also to an alternate reality in the form of TKC. If base Magolor could beat the crown, and Kirby essentially fought the crown + Magolor's own power, it's safe to assume Kirby can beat the Crown on it's own. Kirby has also fought characters on the scale of Titans, with Sectonia and the giant robots in Planet Robobot.
-Doomguy. Apparently he killed the guy that created basically the christian God. And also a lot of other worlds. Like, maybe not 4D, but he probably could still clutch just due to his strength ALONE.
-Godzilla. Apparently. I don't know the exact statements, but some weird Godzilla comics give him some wack shit.
-(This is kind of a joke one, but hear me out) Segata Sanshiro. He is literally implied to be Kamen Rider 1, and the Kamen Rider mythos has some wacky stuff, all of which Kamen Rider 1 was a part of. I’ll be honest I haven’t watched much anime so I’m not the most qualified on who she could beat but anyone who’s studied philosophy but just the concept of anything that exists outside of time is a huge logical contradiction and is thus impossible
If she experiences all of time at once so past present and future it means that if she was ever going to die she would be dead right now if she was ever alive she can never be dead so ultimately she can never lose a fight at worse it would be a draw
