Oh no! I’ve never heard of that happening with dyed yarn to that extent! That stinks 😕 VM stands for vegetable matter and basically means anything else that’s in the fiber that’s not wool. Hay, sticks, flowers, burrs, etc. Sometimes it makes its way into yarn, but it can be annoying when there’s a lot of it!
That yarn sounds like a nightmare with the dye and plant matter coming out of it! I wonder how it will hold up after being washed? (Perhaps I need to finish watching this vlog first, in case you've already answered this.)
