One of her best roles. Her melting and dark voice fits this music like a glove. And Luis Lima also shines here, wonderful and handsome. Great actors and marvellous singers that we don't find anymore.

❤❤❤❤Genial, Baltsa, en un rol que no tiene dueña hoy día. Al igual que el resto de repertorio de mezzo, lamentablemente , es así. La época dorada de las mezzos ha quedado en un pasado muy lejano. Gracias por compartir este fragmento. Es una secuencia poderosa bastante visceral y dramática, interpretada por Agnes, como una verdadera siciliana, mucha pasión y mucho coraje.

This opera is so peasant Italian it literally hurts. The music is so emotionally searing it never fails to grab. This production is so iconic. The performers look abs sound like their characters. Thrilling.
