Welcome to Luxury ! This weekend we stay at the Trump International Hotel in Chicago - 5 star hotel! We had the pleasure of staying inside the 1 bedroom Grand Deluxe suite with the Lake view on the 18th floor.

I have planned on making my second ever trip to Chicago. The first time was a 3 day trip for Chicago Marathon. Fly in, Ran, Fly out.
I normally go to Las Vegas 3 to 4 times a year for a 4 day trip. It's time to move around to somewhere else. I thought about Detroit but heard some bad reviews. So I figured Chi town
I have a room for ACME hotel for my entire stay. If i was thinking of making Chi town my next Vegas would you move the hotel to something branded like Trump, Sheraton etc etc or just get the cheapest in that location etc?

Hi! Not on X or threads (been debating going on there to share more info on our trips and stays in detail!).. there’s a lot to do in Chicago and safer than what most people advertise it as in the media. We’ve been to Detroit and it didn’t have much to offer (we’d much rather stay in Muskegon or Ann harbor Michigan)
As far as hotel goes, it all depends what you’re looking to do and get out of your trip . We noticed when we stay at hotels like Trump, Langham, four seasons, etc- we rarely go out and enjoy the city since the hotel offers so many amenities. If you’re planning on exploring the city then any hotel would suffice that’s downtown (keep in mind parking can get very expensive so best to just stay downtown and walk or cycle) .. riverwalk (river north) area is a nice place to stay in downtown

I live in Detroit. We have a great party scene. Clubs and bars all over. As far as tourism, there's not much here. We definitely aren't a Chicago.

That can vary - but we typically do 20% dinner , room service $10-$20 depending on what we ordered
