Good to listen to CEO KQ. This has been a very positive and enlightening conversation.
About the forthcoming new flight entry to Mogadishu, rival airlines charge $260 for a one way trip while KQ will charge approx $435. Can you capitalize on the availability of more kenyans and Somali nationals who work in Somalia on contracts and business pple to charge an average of $ 280-$300 for the 1 hr 40 min flight.?
Allan is my hero
Good job. Please also train your crew. As a Kenyan I feel disrespected by them compared to how they treat westernerd
Brilliant questions team, l was hoping you would ask, and you did!!
CEO Kq, shout out to your employees. I flied with kq, Paris to nbo July, and I can attest the services was fantastic #1 compared to other airlines have used.
Maybe cut down on food and beverages. In order to reduce your cost.
Give Kenyans something positive to talk about KQ. It's their officers who are full of excuses the public just responds to what they say
I wish there was a way we could get questions to Kilavuka.
1. Why not diversify the fleet? If we have challenges sourcing spare parts from Boeing, why not get some Airbus on ACMI lease?
2. If the Dreamliner was down for a C check, why couldn't they forecast it ahead of time and get another Dreamliner on a temporary lease to plug the gap?
3. Does the CBA they have with KALPA allow them to wet lease aircraft?
For diversification it will be even more costly hiring new pilots and training them to operate Airbus,
@@Bismassang plus maintenance. that means more loses😂
Great questions
@@Bismassang pilots are always being hired anyway and any new crew rating ia offset by the cost savings a new fleet brings in.
Now i don’t know about others but if i hear kenyaairways has issues in maintenance,I am sure not booking with kenya airlines.Ppl some of these things should be behind closed doors I have never heard Lufthansa air these and almost every airline is struggling.
True.
KQ is always top notch in its affairs. We love to gossip and gossip is oftentimes negative in nature.
Let's build our country
CEO look sharp
Ndo should not be allowed to ask questions - long, unwinding and don’t make sense. 😢
Where do the crew whose aircraft is down go? jaba
The private investor is Ruto through proxies
,, and it's legal, anyone can invest
Last time l checked KQ was technically insolvent, who will buy the shares.
The pilots are also shooting themselves in the foot by publicizing their issues, who wants to fly with such pilots who say they are fatigued.
It's not summer season in Europe it's winter
He said July,June and September
Does Latif, and the rest of he panel, have relatives who are pilots at KQ? An airline is not just about pilots.
Private investor a.k.a..........
Acha niachie hapo nisikujiwe
At sometimes, even if it is the devil himself, let him come. When last did KQ make profit? Who cares who comes in an areas that doesn't profit us..???
Sell sell without public participation
You want to run to the courts? 😂
Dangote is the private investor
In Kenya there are so many fingers in the cookie jar it will be too expensive.
you have notgood staff especially i prestige plaza reservations. They made e run to Ethiopian. I have been following my refund forticket booked in 2020 April, just before covid I've given up. Bangkok Nairobi Bangkok.
Wakenya hukua so negative with their own. They prefer supporting other people's. Unaeza fikiria KQ pekee yake ndo imeexperience spare parts issues. Hii ndo hufanya ata kwa music industry Kenyans huworship outside musicians lakini when it comes to our own ata hawawajali.
💯
Spot on!!. We are so negative yet most don't even try to get facts
@@alexkibe4179 yeah. Na ni across all sectors. Ata media. Ungeona design media companies zilikua zinaframe hiyo headline, ungefikiria ni ndege 10 zimecancel flights na zingine zikashindwa kuland. Kila after 30 minutes ulikua unapata certain media companies zinarun the same story. Na zote zinaanza na "Another KQ Airplane returns to JKIA after taking off" msee akisoma tu the headline anafikiria ni ndege kumi zimeturn kumbe ni mbili na all of them ilikua due to safety reasons.
Tugeges replying to each other
And it ddnt take long to have one of those that know nothing to appear🤣.
Some fool will buy the shares I imagine.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
KQ is poorly managed. Staff have no sufficient rest periods between flights. I have witnessed many KQ crews landing in the morning and leaving in the evening the following. The crew have on average 200 days of holiday. The MD has failed and need to resign. KQ is nothing but a glorified matatu.
Why do we tolerate Allan lying outright. This debt has never been explained - operational profits and overall loss. How does this even make sense. Kenyans are critical because of experience! Leaders continue to lie to them, so give us a break! If you were more transparent then maybe we wouldn’t be.
