@@Boltman35 the ability to connect and play on ps5 without remote play. Right now the only way to play PS5 games is to connect the XIM to the PS5 controller to a PC that is running PS5 Remote Play. So this way your input goes through the Remote Play while you watch the game on the actual PS5 console. So basically it's like running 2 things.
Even if the code would have been cracked, It's an exceptional legal risk to add it to Matrix. The XIM Company is located in the US and can therefore easily be sued by Sony. Beloader is from China and is therefore far more protected in that regard.
hii xim team. i have played with xim apex and the besavior u5, now i cant use the u5 and i cant play ps5 with apex. do you have a solution or fix to play with the apex on ps5? i cant play via remotr because i havent a pc... its possible with an update to support the ds5 directly with the apex hub ? thanks
Hey, maybe check back with the Beloader team to see if they have a solution already. Alternatively use XIM Matrix which has inbuilt Remote Play and doesnt need a PC.
Just ordered, my remote play setup works perfectly fine, but I absolutely hate not being able to use Spotify while playing with remote play. I have both the Apex and the Matrix, good to see both work with this.

If I don’t have a problem setting up the xim matrix using remote play, is this still worth it? Or is the main target only for those that can’t use Ethernet? Another question, is the quality of use the same as using the xim matrix only and using it with this?
The main target is for those who cannot use Matrix remote play, or have a XIM that doesnt come with inbuilt remote play (XIM Apex, XIM Nexus). So in your case it sounds like you dont need this stick, unless you want to get rid of the Ethernet cable and use USB instead.
As much as I like using the Beloader, had no problems with it since Day 1. I’ll definitely buy this to free up ethernet space, that and the likely case my ISP decides to go down due to issues therefore can’t use Xim Apex while playing solo. This is great news nonetheless. Hell especially for me who wants to Remote Play but my dumb self keeps forgetting to unplug the Reloaded from my system. Also great for those who use stream services like Apple or Spotify.

You must update its firmware once you receive it, and you must also switch your XIM Matrix from remote play connection to USB. At last a PS4 controller must be connected to port 3 of your XIM. If you did not do these things then it may not work.
I have already made one and it should be out later this month! :) You could alternatively follow any of my XIM Nexus config videos, as the steps are quite literally the very same when using Matrix + Controller. Select the "Gamepad" config if you want anti recoil.

Its described in the instructional videos and you can see me showing the process in every Matrix config video i have uploaded so far. There is no need to create dedicated video just for binding/config pasting.
Any idea why my ps5 controller won't use the USB connection, I changed the method to use USB but when I plug in the u5 and power on my ps5 controller I don't get the USB logo in the top right, I'm my xim manager everything is working but it won't control the ps5 due to it using Bluetooth
@@leitchy7861 You mean your controller is not in USB mode or the Matrix? To set your Matrix into USB mode, use the Connectivity settings and save your changes in the top right. After that powercycle your XIM and it should be in USB mode.
Mine didn’t work out either, it works with the u5 plugged in with the dual sense, then it works with the ps4 controller and the dualsense plugged into the u5, but stops working when I plug in the XIM apex ???
@@XIMCentral I got it working now I don’t have to use 2 controllers at all! Just plug the u5 into ps5 then plug the XIM apex in the back of it and plug in mouse keyboard and ps5 controller into the XIM adaptor, nothing plugged into the side port of the u5, I’ve been playing like this for well over an hour now! That’s not how anyone XIM or the beloader team shows how it’s supposed to be set up, all the tutorials show using a ps5 controller and a ps4 controller and the u5 and XIM

I finally got my U5. When I use it with my Matrix the touchpad takes a screenshot and the Share button does not work. My PS5, controller, Matrix, and U5 are all running latest firmware.
@@XIMCentral Yes, DualSense is connected to the U5 and I updated the U5 to the latest firmware. Firmware is up to date on PS5, DualSense, Matrix, and U5. I tried using different USB cables and connected everything exactly the way the Beloader team shows in their video. I saw another user on the Xim Matrix forums say they are having the same exact issue I am having.
@@eryx7494 Do you have an authentication controller in port 3 of your Matrix? You are now using USB mode, so a PSN authentication controller is required in port 3 of your Matrix too. Otherwise it turns into an Xbox controller -> touchpad and share-button are flipped.
@@XIMCentral No I did not have an authentication controller plugged in port 3 on the Matrix which is probably why I am having this error. I only have one DualSense so I will try a DualShock 4 controller. Thank you for the support. I will try again later today and report back.
@@XIMCentral I used a DualShock 4 as an authentication controller for the Xim Matrix. Now I get a flashing purple light on the Matrix. I am powering the U5 with an Anker 60w power supply. It has both USB Type-C as well as USB Type-A ports. I get purple lights with both ports on my power supply. I am not sure if this Anker power supply if enough to power all of these controllers. I have gotten disconnects a couple of times while playing. I play with Sony NAV and G502 X Lightspeed wireless. Thanks again for the help
The purple light is due to the current U5 firmware being locked to 250Hz. They told me they are working on a firmware to increase the polling rate. As for the setup, check that you have properly connected everything and maybe only try it with a PS5 controller first to see if that works.

Sounds like xim matrix is better with this device using the usb connection. Xim matrix over remote play seems really good as long as you use ethernet on both the matrix and the ps5. Does the besavior make it even more responsive and less lag?
Yes you need to use both the PS5 and Matrix in Ethernet mode to achieve a true 0 delay connection. Since the Besavior U5 uses USB, it can at best be ast fast as Matrix remote play but not better.
Yes exactly, no remote play needed anymore. Matrix is not only a MnK adapter but also a full controller adapter. So if you are a controller player and you want to upgrade your gameplay then Matrix might also be something for you! :)
If you have no issues using an Ethernet cable then yeah, definitely stick to it! :) This solution is mainly for those who cannot use Ethernet because they have WiFi setups for example.
I'm extremely sceptical of any Beloader/Besavior devices until I see a lot of good reviews. Their other devices got hyped up initially and all ended up being hot trash.

I connect everything correctly for the matrix into the u5 and in the manager it shows the keys I press it just isn’t working for my ps5 on screen I can move or click on anything with my keyboard been at this for 4 hours….
I got one delivered off Amazon the other day. I did have some trouble initially but I got them ironed out. My suggestions: 1) Make sure to update firmware. I had some trouble with this, on one of the update threads there was a direct link to the update page which I had to open with the Microsoft Edge browser, rather than the downloaded version. 2) Make sure you get a mains USB socket with a power output of 5V 3A or slightly higher. Sometimes the U5 has trouble powering up, even with this but at least usually it's just a case of unplugging and replugging the USB C power cable in the U5 and it will then work. You want the Dualsense to be lit up purple/pink when the U5 is powered up, otherwise it won't connect.
This is getting too confusing.. Here is my scenario. I have a PS5, a Xim Apex, a Xim Matrix but they have not been used in a while. I don't have access to my wired router because it's in the basement and I'm on the 3rd floor. Which of these products will work without having to use an Ethernet connection??

Nice work XIM. I do have a question unrelated to the video though. I am mainly a PC player and have purchased a XIM Matrix. So far it is absolutely amazing and miles better than the Apex. Although, I was wondering if there is a way to use your native mouse/keyboard while plugged into the Matrix. This is because I wanted to test smart actions on native mnk and also play games without the benefit of aim assist. Thank you again.

I have the besavior controller to use my Nexus on ps5, but I dislike how you have to keep the besavior controller nearby for thr touch pad. Does the besavior u5 have the same problem?
I dont own the normal Besavior so i cannot really comment on that, sorry. The U5 requires you to plug an original PS5 controller into it. Then you connect the Nexus wireless adapter to the back of the U5 together with its authentication controller (PS4 controller). Your Nexus can be located anywhere as long as its in wireless proximity to the Nexus adapter.
I have bought my besavior u5 and it does not work properly it only works in my ps5 home screen but when I open any game it does not respond to any button it only responds to home button
Hey, check if you updated its firmware and follow the setup guide from the Besavior U5 channel. If it still doesnt work remove the XIM and check if everything works with just the PS5 controller.

Yeah see the video for that, the company behind this product said an upcoming firmware will fix that. Until then you can use a USB headset or a different way to connect your headset to the console.

Often there is a problem where all devices stop working, regardless of whether or not a controller is used for authentication. A friend of mine also has this symptom. Is this a bug? By the way, all devices are energized. And the matrix manager is responding.
Bro I’m a COD player specifically Cold War and I’ve been looking for a long time for explanation video of how to do the (AIM ASSIST + ANTI RECOIL) not just anti recoil and the most important thing that I play with CONTROLLER not mouse&keyboard cus most of them are playing and explaining on mouse&keyboard so can you pls help me cus I couldn’t find someone to help me with it. You can watch my Matrix Anti Recoil For Soldier And Baptiste video which addresses exactly that, Aim Assist + Anti Recoil. The solution shown in that game is the same for CoD. If you prefer a controller setup video instead, then watch my Nexus OW2 Config video. The Anti Recoil part does the same, but for controllers. Also i have already added a video to the early access that explains the controller config setup process, it should be out to everyone very soon!
That is always the case when changing the polling rate. You would need to dial it in again, or measure your cm per 360° before the change and then use it to get back your sensitivity with 250Hz.
I had to wait around a week. After 3-4 days the package was in Europe and i got a tracking number. After that it was around another 3 days or so until it arrived!

@@benhartman2534 When connecting Matrix to the U5 you are using the USB connection. So set your Matrix to USB Mode. Also in this mode you are required to have a PS4 controller connected to port 3 of your Matrix. One of the two causes the white blinking.
Go look up past videos by Xim Central, as they have already uploaded extensive videos of gyro setup instructions, as well as A LOT of videos demonstrating Nexus gyro gameplay footage, for over the past couple of years.

I recently added a full "Controller Config Setup Guide" video to the YT early access. It should be out next month! It will show everything you need to know for a controller setup with Matrix, including gyro. You can however also just watch any of my Nexus config videos, such as the recent Nexus OW2 Config video. Its steps are identical to Matrix + gyro controller. Both Nexus and Matrix share the same config setup.
Because its illegal to ship the PS5 encryption keys via a firmware to the customer. If Sony takes notice of that they could sue Cronus into the ground. Matrix is PS5 compatible without third party adapters and doesnt need to use PS5 encryption keys.
Just bought one waiting for it to come. Will be using it to play Fortnite/Apex Legends on the PS5. I will be using the U5 with Xim apex connected with a Nacon Revolution Pro 3, Azeron Cyborg (keyboard), and a Logitech G203. Once I get it I’ll test it out and see if there’s any issue if anybody cares lol. Be back to update when it comes. Let’s hope all goes well cause this shit is starting to give me headaches smfh.
You will still have to connect a PS5 controller to the U5. Also i am unsure if a Nacon connected to the XIM will work. Maybe let me know if that works!

I returned the item since I got a mail from technical departure that there is only firmware for 500hz max cap. So take a notice when getting this. For some people that will be alright but since I play 1000hz it didn’t fit my expectations
Because i hear about it for the first time now. Last time i was in contact with Beloader they told me that they are working on a 1000Hz firmware. And even if they can only get up to 500Hz, all console games are running on 250Hz anyway. The point of the video still stands. This is the best alternative for those who cannot use Matrix remote play, or have a device from the previous console generation.
It does, you must just make sure to use Matrix in the PS4 mode. That means you must connect a PS4 v2 controller to port 3 of your Matrix. Then the touchpad will work. Otherwise Matrix is in Xbox controller mode where no touchpad exists.
Apparently, cronus can work with ps5, but after 30 minutes it disconnects, I use a wireless edge controller - I bought a besavior u5, the touchpad doesn't work through it. It works on one controller and the one I'm playing on doesn't@@XIMCentral

I’m thinking about buying a matrix and want to know if with the SAB 3.0 the anti recoil works well with? I know zen made an updated script for the anti recoil making it undetected for mouse trap. Is the matrix the same?

Hello I've stopped playing since PS5 games are blocked. Before i played MW, CW, Vanguard on PS4 with Apex. As controller i used mouse and PS Move navigation controller. Will it work again if i would use a Besavior U5? Thank you for response.

If you have a Matrix then its remote play is just as good as this USB stick (both 0 delay). If you use other remote play solutions then the stick will most likely be better.
@@leo-hz4sr Its just Spotify because of Remote Play. For voicechat connect Matrix via USB to the console and select "XIM Matrix" as the audio source in the console dashboard (mic and audio). Then plug a PS5 controller to port 3 of your Matrix and plug your headset into it. That way you can use voicechat.

if you buy a cronus zen it has a ps5 translation feature to allow you to play ps5 games with your xim
They use the same solution as this stick. This stick is much cheaper than a Zen though.

Any idea why my ps5 controller won't use the USB connection, I changed the method to use USB but when I plug in the u5 and power on my ps5 controller I don't get the USB logo in the top right, I'm my xim manager everything is working but it won't control the ps5 due to it using Bluetooth
@@leitchy7861 You mean your controller is not in USB mode or the Matrix? To set your Matrix into USB mode, use the Connectivity settings and save your changes in the top right. After that powercycle your XIM and it should be in USB mode.

Try it with just the PS5 controller and the U5 first. If that doesnt work, then something is wrong with the setup, the firmware, or the device itself.
Mine didn’t work out either, it works with the u5 plugged in with the dual sense, then it works with the ps4 controller and the dualsense plugged into the u5, but stops working when I plug in the XIM apex ???
@@johnsmith-gq5uf Your XIM Apex setup must be identical to it plugging into your PS4. So no PS5 controller for the XIM Apex and such.

Just plug the u5 into ps5 then plug the XIM apex in the back of it and plug in mouse keyboard and ps5 controller into the XIM adaptor, nothing plugged into the side port of the u5, I’ve been playing like this for well over an hour now! That’s not how anyone XIM or the beloader team shows how it’s supposed to be set up, all the tutorials show using a ps5 controller and a ps4 controller and the u5 and XIM

I finally got my U5. When I use it with my Matrix the touchpad takes a screenshot and the Share button does not work. My PS5, controller, Matrix, and U5 are all running latest firmware.
The DualSense is connected to the U5, right? And you updated your U5 firmware too, correct?

Firmware is up to date on PS5, DualSense, Matrix, and U5. I tried using different USB cables and connected everything exactly the way the Beloader team shows in their video.
I saw another user on the Xim Matrix forums say they are having the same exact issue I am having.
@@eryx7494 Do you have an authentication controller in port 3 of your Matrix? You are now using USB mode, so a PSN authentication controller is required in port 3 of your Matrix too. Otherwise it turns into an Xbox controller -> touchpad and share-button are flipped.
@@XIMCentral No I did not have an authentication controller plugged in port 3 on the Matrix which is probably why I am having this error. I only have one DualSense so I will try a DualShock 4 controller.

@@XIMCentral I used a DualShock 4 as an authentication controller for the Xim Matrix. Now I get a flashing purple light on the Matrix. I am powering the U5 with an Anker 60w power supply. It has both USB Type-C as well as USB Type-A ports. I get purple lights with both ports on my power supply. I am not sure if this Anker power supply if enough to power all of these controllers. I have gotten disconnects a couple of times while playing. I play with Sony NAV and G502 X Lightspeed wireless.

The purple light is due to the current U5 firmware being locked to 250Hz. They told me they are working on a firmware to increase the polling rate. As for the setup, check that you have properly connected everything and maybe only try it with a PS5 controller first to see if that works.

Sounds like xim matrix is better with this device using the usb connection. Xim matrix over remote play seems really good as long as you use ethernet on both the matrix and the ps5. Does the besavior make it even more responsive and less lag?
Yes you need to use both the PS5 and Matrix in Ethernet mode to achieve a true 0 delay connection. Since the Besavior U5 uses USB, it can at best be ast fast as Matrix remote play but not better.

Yes exactly, no remote play needed anymore. Matrix is not only a MnK adapter but also a full controller adapter. So if you are a controller player and you want to upgrade your gameplay then Matrix might also be something for you! :)

Set your Matrix into USB mode, if that doesnt work check if the Beloader U5 works without the XIM or if that may be the issue.

If you have no issues using an Ethernet cable then yeah, definitely stick to it! :) This solution is mainly for those who cannot use Ethernet because they have WiFi setups for example.
I'm extremely sceptical of any Beloader/Besavior devices until I see a lot of good reviews. Their other devices got hyped up initially and all ended up being hot trash.

Never had an issue with mine. I assume buyers didnt read the Besavior instructions such as updating the firmware or so.
I got one delivered off Amazon the other day. I did have some trouble initially but I got them ironed out. My suggestions:
1) Make sure to update firmware. I had some trouble with this, on one of the update threads there was a direct link to the update page which I had to open with the Microsoft Edge browser, rather than the downloaded version.
2) Make sure you get a mains USB socket with a power output of 5V 3A or slightly higher. Sometimes the U5 has trouble powering up, even with this but at least usually it's just a case of unplugging and replugging the USB C power cable in the U5 and it will then work. You want the Dualsense to be lit up purple/pink when the U5 is powered up, otherwise it won't connect.

This is getting too confusing.. Here is my scenario. I have a PS5, a Xim Apex, a Xim Matrix but they have not been used in a while. I don't have access to my wired router because it's in the basement and I'm on the 3rd floor. Which of these products will work without having to use an Ethernet connection??
Yes but the U5 doesnt work right now. Ill soon upload a new video with a replacement adapter that cannot be patched. Just received it and will review it over the next few days!

Try it with just a controller to see if the U5 works. Also update its firmware. Then if that is the case add the XIM. Do one step at a time.

It will only work if you have a PS5 controller connected to the U5, and a PS4 controller connected to XIM Apex. Also you must update the U5 firmware.
Nice work XIM. I do have a question unrelated to the video though. I am mainly a PC player and have purchased a XIM Matrix. So far it is absolutely amazing and miles better than the Apex. Although, I was wondering if there is a way to use your native mouse/keyboard while plugged into the Matrix. This is because I wanted to test smart actions on native mnk and also play games without the benefit of aim assist. Thank you again.

I have the besavior controller to use my Nexus on ps5, but I dislike how you have to keep the besavior controller nearby for thr touch pad. Does the besavior u5 have the same problem?
Exactly! And it works really well too! :)
I dont own the normal Besavior so i cannot really comment on that, sorry. The U5 requires you to plug an original PS5 controller into it. Then you connect the Nexus wireless adapter to the back of the U5 together with its authentication controller (PS4 controller). Your Nexus can be located anywhere as long as its in wireless proximity to the Nexus adapter.
I have bought my besavior u5 and it does not work properly it only works in my ps5 home screen but when I open any game it does not respond to any button it only responds to home button
Hey, check if you updated its firmware and follow the setup guide from the Besavior U5 channel. If it still doesnt work remove the XIM and check if everything works with just the PS5 controller.

Yeah see the video for that, the company behind this product said an upcoming firmware will fix that. Until then you can use a USB headset or a different way to connect your headset to the console.

Often there is a problem where all devices stop working, regardless of whether or not a controller is used for authentication.
A friend of mine also has this symptom.

You can watch my Matrix Anti Recoil For Soldier And Baptiste video which addresses exactly that, Aim Assist + Anti Recoil. The solution shown in that game is the same for CoD. If you prefer a controller setup video instead, then watch my Nexus OW2 Config video. The Anti Recoil part does the same, but for controllers. Also i have already added a video to the early access that explains the controller config setup process, it should be out to everyone very soon!

That is always the case when changing the polling rate. You would need to dial it in again, or measure your cm per 360° before the change and then use it to get back your sensitivity with 250Hz.

XIM Apex + Besavior U5 is the better choice for having the least amount of delay between the two options!

@@benhartman2534 When connecting Matrix to the U5 you are using the USB connection. So set your Matrix to USB Mode. Also in this mode you are required to have a PS4 controller connected to port 3 of your Matrix. One of the two causes the white blinking.

Go look up past videos by Xim Central, as they have already uploaded extensive videos of gyro setup instructions, as well as A LOT of videos demonstrating Nexus gyro gameplay footage, for over the past couple of years.

I recently added a full "Controller Config Setup Guide" video to the YT early access. It should be out next month! It will show everything you need to know for a controller setup with Matrix, including gyro. You can however also just watch any of my Nexus config videos, such as the recent Nexus OW2 Config video. Its steps are identical to Matrix + gyro controller. Both Nexus and Matrix share the same config setup.
Why does the cronous zen support ps5 compatibility without third party adapter or remote play and the xim matrix and apex doesn’t support ?
Because its illegal to ship the PS5 encryption keys via a firmware to the customer. If Sony takes notice of that they could sue Cronus into the ground. Matrix is PS5 compatible without third party adapters and doesnt need to use PS5 encryption keys.
Just bought one waiting for it to come. Will be using it to play Fortnite/Apex Legends on the PS5.
I will be using the U5 with Xim apex connected with a Nacon Revolution Pro 3, Azeron Cyborg (keyboard), and a Logitech G203.
Once I get it I’ll test it out and see if there’s any issue if anybody cares lol. Be back to update when it comes. Let’s hope all goes well cause this shit is starting to give me headaches smfh.
You will still have to connect a PS5 controller to the U5. Also i am unsure if a Nacon connected to the XIM will work. Maybe let me know if that works!

Hey, i dont recall any feedback about that keyboard but in the XIM Forum you can find a list of devices that are known to not work.
I returned the item since I got a mail from technical departure that there is only firmware for 500hz max cap. So take a notice when getting this. For some people that will be alright but since I play 1000hz it didn’t fit my expectations

Because i hear about it for the first time now. Last time i was in contact with Beloader they told me that they are working on a 1000Hz firmware. And even if they can only get up to 500Hz, all console games are running on 250Hz anyway. The point of the video still stands. This is the best alternative for those who cannot use Matrix remote play, or have a device from the previous console generation.

It does, you must just make sure to use Matrix in the PS4 mode. That means you must connect a PS4 v2 controller to port 3 of your Matrix. Then the touchpad will work. Otherwise Matrix is in Xbox controller mode where no touchpad exists.
Apparently, cronus can work with ps5, but after 30 minutes it disconnects, I use a wireless edge controller - I bought a besavior u5, the touchpad doesn't work through it. It works on one controller and the one I'm playing on doesn't@@XIMCentral
@@warzonebalkan2576 Hey, as described above the touchpad will only work if you follow the Matrix PS4 setup. An original PS4 v2 controller must be connected to port 3 of your Matrix, and a DualSense must be connected to the Besavior U5.
I have the Xim Apex.. but I can only play PS4 games with MNK.. Can I play PS5 games with the PS4 controller with this adapter?
Yes you can! You will need to connect a PS5 controller to the Besavior though, that is still required.
so what ive just found if i update the xim matrix firmware to the new beta the u5 works so at last works
Thats because it changes controller requirements. See my reply to your other comment on how to get it working without updating your Matrix FW! :)
I’m thinking about buying a matrix and want to know if with the SAB 3.0 the anti recoil works well with? I know zen made an updated script for the anti recoil making it undetected for mouse trap. Is the matrix the same?
Anti Recoil with Matrix doesnt get you detected. Funny to hear that Zen had to release an update to achieve that!
So if you buy this you can play the PS5 versions of games, but if I buy just the matrix I can play the ps5 version too but I just need to be connected by Ethernet?

In that case no, this is a USB solution. But i heard there are currently compatibility issues, maybe check their website for details.

Before i played MW, CW, Vanguard on PS4 with Apex. As controller i used mouse and PS Move navigation controller.

Yes you can connect your XIM Matrix to the Besavior U5 and you can play PS5 games again! :)
ive just bought it, i havae no complains with the remote play other than i cannot use spotify, will this be better than remoteplay, or is remote play the better option?
I think usb connection is going to be just as fast if not faster than the old ethernet/remote play connection method.

If you have a Matrix then its remote play is just as good as this USB stick (both 0 delay). If you use other remote play solutions then the stick will most likely be better.

@@leo-hz4sr Its just Spotify because of Remote Play. For voicechat connect Matrix via USB to the console and select "XIM Matrix" as the audio source in the console dashboard (mic and audio). Then plug a PS5 controller to port 3 of your Matrix and plug your headset into it. That way you can use voicechat.
So can i use my Xim Apex with PS5 now? I Need only Besavior, Apex, and a dual sense?
Yes! You will also need a PS4 controller for your XIM Apex though!

Theres an issue with the U5 right now, thats why. See the Beloader website for more infos, i think they are working on it.
