The stray animals thing is actually pretty awesome. Animals can’t speak for themself and they go through a lot. Find it awesome that they get all the help they can in turkey
Actually before i visited the other countries, i thought all around the world people care stray animals like this :)) İt's normal in Turkey.
Haha I love the idea of looking after stray animals 👍
It’s very sweet
Hey Tristan, always happy to see a new video in my notifications. One of the weirdest things I saw in Turkey was at Istanbul Airport, must have seen a dozen individual guys with head bandages. Took a while to work it out.......hair transplants. Lots of love from Melbourne. X
Thanks for the video!
I always get notified off your video upload when I am getting to work so this is great. Helpful hints before going to Turkey so thanks for sharing🥰🥰🥰
No problem. Glad you found it helpful
How cute that they watch the construction guys with large machinery, except maybe if you're the guy using the machinery lol 😂 It would be a bit daunting being watched as well as scary incase someone got hurt. LOVE that they look after the strays 💖
Haha never thought of that but that would be a little weird as the construction operator
Cause most of them didn't have such toys when they were child :)
G’day Tristan, looking great mate.
Thanks Waz! Hope you’re doing well
I named my first son after you, Tristan. Tristan Bond ❤️
Amazing name!
@@TristanKuhn Yes, I agree!
Lovely glasses
Thank you 😊
My father was given a middle name but he used his confirmation name as his middle name. He picked Austin after a teacher who was a Franciscan brother. I had never heard of St. Austin but apparently it is a diminutive of Augustin
Hello Tristan, really liked your videos about Turkey so far. About the metal detector things, we agree with you as well. Most of them were put in place when ISIS was big in Syria and they were bombings around the country. After things cooled down, no one took them away. I think that's for the best because we do live in a heated political geography and issues rise every now and then. If the police or security have intelligence about a possible threat, you'll see the metal detectors being worked diligently.
ISIS attacks were not a common thing in Turkey especially in the cities like Istanbul. Those attacks were on the borders close to Syria and against to military areas. We have a very close bloody history about bombings but they are mostly about inner politics/conflicts and mostly inner, sometimes external (like el kaide) terror organisations.
Did you try the Turkish Baths?
I did not. It’s one of the main things I didn’t do but wish I did
İlk Türk:)
İkinci Türk :D
😂
dördüncüyü bulursak masa kuralım.
These metal detectors have different level of sensitivities. Even if they make a sound, the levels of warning sounds are different than each other and able to detect your amount of metal. So, generally security is aware of the metals on your body is not dangerous.
And It's weird you not saw the women outside as much as men. I think you must have visited the most touristic places in Turkey, especially in İstanbul. So, in these places, shop owners or workers are commonly men. I do not know why but this is the situation here I guess.
And again, carpet shops are only common in touristic areas. I've never seen one of them in my daily life. 😁
The police and carrying gun issue, I've never realised that is weird but you are right, it is kinda absurd. But we have a very close bloody history about bombings in the cities. I think because of that or just a power movement.

Number one would be they are the metal equivalent of dinosaur's. Their power is amazing it's a bloke thing.
We love bulldozers! That's a East German AK-47. The best AK ever made.
