The Purple Yarnivore ah, that makes more sense - especially since I tend to stay away from thinner yarns! I love yarn hauls too! I ordered some mystery bags from Hobbii that I am waiting on and will definitely be posting a video on that - plus I have some FO of a few things from my last Yarn Haul video. I’m having so much fun doing all this! Thanks for watching and commenting! It keeps me going as a new channel!
Another viewpoint: as a knitter, sometimes I just slip small markers directly on the needle as I'm counting stitches, so it doesn't even clasp directly onto the yarn. It just slides off the needle on the next row, or I slip it on the needle in the same place on the next row, depending on the pattern.
I used to crochet a BUNCH! I even taught crochet classes at a well-known retail craft store, in my local store. But unfortunately, arthritis runs in my family, and I have damage to my wrist. It was probably the way I was holding the hook, but it got to the point that I was hurting my wrist to much. Soooo... I switched to knitting. For some reason, it's much easier on my hands. I still have to limit my time, but at least I get my "stitch fix", and it's been fun to see how yarn behaves in different ways on knitting needles. So yes, I can relate to health issues! So glad that you've found an outlet for your creativity, which can be so therapeutic. Keep it up, and I enjoyed the video! :)
You are very sweet. Great and honest. Loved it thank you for the unboxing. I am also subscribed to yarn yay. But for the life of me don't remember what color i received that month.. I love plant based yarns so animal based yarn usually just tend to be stored until i make gifts for friend and fam.
Thanks for sharing your Yarn yay and Knit Crate boxes. The yarn in the knit crate box is very pretty, should make up a lovely project. Take care from Canada.💙💓💙
I only use those small lobster clasps for fine weight yarns, like sport, fingering, and lace. I love yarn hauls even from subscriptions.

I was looking into getting a yarn subscription thanks for sharing
I use those stitch markers with the lobster clasp as progress keepers, to see how much I have knit that day or week.
nice job... looking at getting knitcrate
I prefer crochet also to knit. I use that type marker to hold my stitch when I put my work away.

Thanks for stopping by!
I debated buying that yarn yay box. It didn’t say is shipping was included in the $35?
It is actually a $6 flat rate to ship.
