Also, if you have long toes it’s not so comfortable 😢 You almost have to have the perfect foot! 😂

Hey man i've been walking and standing slightly intoed the past few months ever since i saw your video on how to walk properly. This also happened naturally as i started improving my mobility. I noticed my balance improving, and running and jumping becoming so much more efficient i feel like a feather now when i run lol. My feet feel so much stronger now. I can squat deeper as well. The first few days i made this change it felt like i was on steroids tbh.

No, not necessary to worry about the toes unless you have particularly unusual toes. But the sizing is slightly different to conventional shoes. Once you've tried on a pair, you'll know the sizing needs for all of that brand. The Euro sizing increments are quite small (as in half sizes for UK).
I have one the thing is when I get sore after a lifting day I use cushiony running shoe OR I’ll get more sore and unrecovered for the rest of the week! Yes barefoot is ideal BUT on a natural surface not concrete or rough surface that could have issues on its own!!
One problem. They SMELL. The 5 fingers are the champion at trapping your sweat and gunks and cook them up. They're not drying up too quick either so frequent washing can be annoying.

I've been going to the gym for several years and despite the common perception on the internet, I've always found them to be very positive environments where people are welcome, no one is made fun of, and actually everyone there will always encourage you to do your best and respect you for your will to improve yourself Despite all of that, if you show up with those shoes you will get made fun of If you want to be barefoot, I've never seen a gym that has any problem with people just wearing socks. And generally, a 10$ fabric shoe with a flat rubber sole will be perfect for most people and will add virtually no cushioning And at any rate, this is such a minimal impact thing no beginner to intermediate lifter should bother. Just wear whatever shoe you have, and take it off while doing squat/deadlift if it has a cushion. Let's not overcomplicate working out / convince people they need this or that specific piece of equipment in order to be working out "the right way"?

I forget where, but I heard they had to combine the pinky and neighboring toe because it was causing damage by splitting them apart with that amount of material. Genuine question, but is that not a concern? Or is that not much of a factor?
10 years ago i broke both of my ankles 6 months a part from each other. I brought a pair of five fingers and they help tremendously with my recovery. Just walking in these will do wonders. I think I’ll buy another pair soon
I wish people took their shoes of to go in my gym. It's currently our rainy season and no one wipes their shoes as they come in from the dirt carpark. Brown dirt looks great on all the black rubber mats and treadmills.
How do they hold up though? I would imagine the material is thinner and with all the flexing it breaks down faster. I don’t know though. I live in Florida where all my shoes basically melt after a couple of months. I've gone through so many shoes here that I keep 3-4 pair of cheap ones on hand in case the soles fall off the ones I'm wearing.
I’ve owned many pairs of these and I had to give up on them due to their lack of durability. They are unrepairable and they are expensive especially when it comes to getting a new pair every few months due to the previous pair prematurely wearing out.

There is a process on how to build up the appropriate strength to transition from a Hoka style shoe to these. I have a bunch of videos on how to do so safely. It is not an overnight process. If you can’t wear shoes like these or be barefoot regularly, your lower legs are not as strong as they should be. And if that is case - the shoes you’re wearing are only hiding a problem!

Yes, the type of surface you’re training on matters. Especially when transitioning from a Hoka sized shoe to something more minimalist. If you’re on concrete, the extra padding in the shoe would be good to have. If you’re on a track, turf field, well maintained grass field, etc… more minimalist options here (or barefoot)!

Trust me , I warm up and do all my squats with good crocs . I check for the grip and I am using them, they are great and awesome . For running I change to running shoes . Crocs are affordable than these shoes , if you can afford then Whatver he is showing are the best !!!

It would be wonderful if those fit my feet better. The bottom of my toe webbing isn’t straight across it goes back back back towards my little toe towards my heel. My little toe hardly fits in that at all and it’s very difficult. If they’re going to be like that it would be better to have single space for my fourth and fifth toe. I get the point but still disagree. Shoes force your feet into an unnatural state that is more efficient and effective. Hardcore powerlifters also fall into this trap when the muscle tonicity goes up so high they physically cannot squat their own bodyweight because their muscles have overadapted to squatting with heavy weights. The solution is to have recovery periods but not to ditch the entire sport or way of life altogether. Getting rid of foot dexterity so you can turb your foot into one giant spring at the cost of the inability to move in uneven terrain is good for most sports and everyday life. How many of you ever need the foot dexterity to step on radically uneven terrain???? Just rehab it every so often and then let it go back to being taped together by ligaments and tendons into one spring.
Totally Wrong. Most of the Gym shoes have flexible front toe box part which can modulate changes in pressure and foot position comfortably. Also, if anything falls on the foot, they get saved. No exercise in Gym requires all toes to be separated from each other and in different directions. So this is total bullshit😊

This is gym shoes and also called barefoot shoes after using modern shoes our toes are slightly getting out of place but these help out toes stay in place snd gives you a better grip than normal shoes its ideal to wear these shoes rather than normal shoes

Vibram Five Finger shoes are my go-to shoes for everything except rugged trails in the rain. Then I wear Vivobarefoot tracker 2 FG.

Do vibram fit when feet are different sizes. 1 1-2 size difference in length and 1 size difference in width. My short foot is the wider one

The solution is to have recovery periods but not to ditch the entire sport or way of life altogether. Getting rid of foot dexterity so you can turb your foot into one giant spring at the cost of the inability to move in uneven terrain is good for most sports and everyday life.
How many of you ever need the foot dexterity to step on radically uneven terrain???? Just rehab it every so often and then let it go back to being taped together by ligaments and tendons into one spring.
I wear football/soccer socks. They have rubber patches so they are gripy and my gym manager isn't as about mandatory shoes.

Wrong. Most of the Gym shoes have flexible front toe box part which can modulate changes in pressure and foot position comfortably. Also, if anything falls on the foot, they get saved. No exercise in Gym requires all toes to be separated from each other and in different directions. So this is total bullshit😊
Don't be ridiculous. How is any gym shoe going to save your foot from a heavy falling object? Who said toe spread is 'required'? Sure, most exercises could be completed by forcing the toes to remain together, but that's not quite the same is it.

This is gym shoes and also called barefoot shoes after using modern shoes our toes are slightly getting out of place but these help out toes stay in place snd gives you a better grip than normal shoes its ideal to wear these shoes rather than normal shoes
