woah! watching this in bed where I struggle to sleep cos of tight calf pain. I just wiggled my toes for a minute and the constant pain is better already. cannot believe it. Thank you!!
Been into the barefoot life for a long time. Many things you show and teach I have been doing and I continue to learn new stuff. As someone with size 16 feet and wide finding good shoes isn't easy so bare footing was the answer and I will never go back. Thanks for the vid this helps a ton.
My doctor said, I have genetically tight calfs, and I can't do anything about it. My goal is to do something about it. I also love that you sprint barefoot. I'm all about actually using the foot instead of restricting it in a cage
Remember: if a stretch HURTS, stop. Your tendons and muscles may not be at a point where they can do all these stretches as deeply as he does. Find a less intense way to stretch the same part and work your way up
I'm barefoot 24 7 365 and I often get really wierd foot cramp when my toes start to curl under...usually lasts about 30 sec usually when I'm sitting or laying down.
I started working out 2 weeks ago and my calves aren't painful but when I do certain position I can feel them pulling and they're hard I don't feel pain at all
Every time I run 3,4, maybe 5 miles even a half marathon, I stretch alot before I run & still my calf feels tight after ive run, how do I loosing them after or make them feel better??? Thanks
hey, i know this question may be a bit out of context, but i have to wrap my ankles every day to practice, will it hurt me in the long run? (I'm trying to quit and strengthen my feet every day)
Or you could just release the lateral hamstring in order to mobilize the head of the fibula thus restoring shock absorbency to the lower leg and foot where the root of the problem is.
Literally did about 30 seconds of toe crunches and feet rolling and this had an immediate relief, it was like magic, thanks!
Brilliant. Some of my friends need to see this. They run slow as heck
Send it to em!
didd they respond?

Agreed. Don’t work through pain. Regress and rebuild.

When must we do this? Before or after the run? Or upon hurting?😅
❤
What if my shins hurt when I run 👀
My foot would cramp so bad if I tried that idk what to do
That's okay. It's pretty common. The feet will stop cramping up after while

Depends on why you think you have to wrap your ankles every practice.
Message me on instagram and let’s figure it out!
