Synopsis
A small-town girl from a Nova Scotia coal mining town becomes a Canadian icon and international superstar. Pure, honest, or just plain ol’ good, no matter how Anne Murray’s voice was described, it was always clear she has a remarkable gift. Throughout Anne’s decades-spanning international career, her songs topped the charts, her TV specials set records, she performed and collaborated with music royalty, and she converted casual listeners into die-hard fans with her undeniable talent. Anne Murray: Full Circle is a full-length, fully authorised documentary featuring an original, in-depth interview with Anne sharing anecdotes, memories, and observations as 19 familiar hit songs and breathtaking archival footage illuminate Anne’s storied career. Original new interviews with the artists, collaborators, and colleagues who knew her best including Shania Twain, k.d. lang, Bonnie Raitt, Jann Arden, Kenny Loggins, Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Allen and others are seamlessly woven into the story and paired with rarely seen material from her personal archives, telling the story of a ground-breaking woman who seized control of her career and soared to the heights of fame without failing to stay true to herself. Anne- Murray is one of the Great Canadian artists of all time. And let us not forget that Ann- Murray was Elvis Presley's favorite singer. Anne- Murray set the stage for many other Great Canadian artists to come along over the next decades. What a Sweet Soul.

Wanting you to know that your songs literally saved my life. I discovered your songs in 1984. A friend gifted me your vinyl, without knowing that although I was "Miss Perfect " on the outside, my sister and I were being severely abused by our mother. You, Ms Murray was our escape from the abuse. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank you because I was suicidal back then and your songs literally saved my life. Thank you ever so much.

Loved Anne Murray always. Still so beautiful. She cannot be 76. No way. I can listen to her sing all day, but I also love her voice when she speaks. So soothing and wonderful.

Saw this woman in Glens Falls, N.Y. about 30 years ago. I've got lots of her music in my archives. I favor classical music, but her voice is classical for me.

I heard Anne Murray's songs a lot in the 1970s. Awesome singer.
I don't know what gives people like this the strength to keep going through such hell. I would have packed my bags and said "adios" a long time ago. Maybe it's a certain greatness or musical/artistic standard they're determined to attain. Everyone's different. Anne Murray has always had a beautiful voice, and I'm glad she (and her family) survived -- though her husband had a hard time (with alcohol? I think) and her daughter went through some serious anorexia. All in the past now.
Anne, I have been a fan of yours since Snowbird and have had the privilege of meeting you twice after attending many many concerts. We have visited the Centre in Springhill twice and even met your Mom while there. We named our beautiful daughter after you, so you have a special place in our hearts. Thank you for all the great music and your beautiful voice and soul.

The hours you spent in the studio must be staggering. All those gorgeous vocals and vocal arrangements are second to none! I love you and miss your presence. I could never get over you throwing flowers out 2 us, the audience @ Sunrise Theater, Sunrise, Fl, after 1 of your many treasured concerts there!!! U were even so kind 2 allow my Mom & myself 2 have a picture w/u----a framed forever treasure!!! We also met your very handsome brother, Bruce that particular night, hoping he might also continue 2 perform w/his exceptional voice!!! Pls know u & your God-given voice will b w/us always as we wish & pray only the very best 4 u & your precious family! There is not another performer that I love as much as Anne Murray, I have always wanted to meet her, just once before I leave this world. That is how very much I care about her. I have gone to every one of her concerts in Florida. I was connected with people in Calif. who were able to get me front row seats, however I never obtained back stage passes. At one concert I went up to Anne's mother who told me to wait after the show & she was nice enough to get me a 8x10 photo signed. I was praying that she would ask me to join her but it just didn't happen. Last year my partner purchased a place for me to speak with Anne virtually during the pandemic. It was the best birthday gift that I have ever received in my 73 years. Maybe I am being selfish but I just want to meet her in person. I tried several to get to Anne's Celebration, however the first year my in-laws passed, 2nd was pandemic.
@Lois Sohn. I met Anne's daughter Dawn in 2008 during her mom's last tour. What a lovely lady Dawn is! Alas, I still didn't meet Anne. So close, yet so far away. I understand you completely.
Finally available in the U.S. & I have my dvd that I keep watching over & over. I highly recommend Anne's book, All Of Me & her documentary. I am still amazed at what Anne had to go through to pursue her career. I love her unmistakable voice! The documentary is GREAT! It's 90 minutes long & I would have liked to see maybe another 10 minutes of her last year performing & a couple of minutes about how she's spending her retirement which she so deserves!! I sure wish I could have met her! God Bless Anne Murray!😘❤🎶👏

Bought my tickets to see it at Cineplex in Gatineau on December 2. i have seen Anne Murray in concert over 25 times throughout her career and miss seeing her perform live. A consummate professional with a warm, unique, instantly recognizable voice. Can't wait to see a documentary that showcases her remarkable career.

Poor Anne, made all that money, fame.
Love her music but her sour grapes not so much. After snowbird success she took a break. After the break she fizzled. Good time to retire right? No she reaches out to Loggins for help. Why not just scale back and live the way she wanted to in Spring Hill? I need her real truth. Why so bitter?
