My mums family moved from Partick to a new built house in Shafton place Knightswood in the 40s.My dads family moved from Temple to Turret Road Knightswood around the same time.I started school at Knightswood primary in the late 50s and can remember that first day clearly. We moved to Shafton Place in the early 50s, and lived in the house below Granny and Grandad. I spent most weekends with my other Granny an Grandad at Turret Rd. Their back garden backed on to the canal and I loved going for walks with my dad along the canal. One of mums sisters and her fanily lived in Cowdenhill circus. I remembered some of the streets you took and was amazed that a lot of the houses were still the same.I have very fond memories of living in Knightswood, and going on shopping trips with my Grannies to Anniesland cross and being spoilt by them. Thanks Paul for the great video that brought back great memories.
