Many years ago I used a large ring binder and had tabbed sections for different life areas. I usually designed whatever forms I needed for those sections. I guess with Happy Planner making all these different designs it becomes easier to say you’re using 8 planners instead of having 8 sections in a binder, but in the end it’s really the same thing (probably a little cheaper to go the single binder route, but not as much fun). All in all, it really comes down to the time blocking. We can’t get any more hours in our day, regardless how many planners we use.
I love how you say 'but not as much fun!' lol doesn't matter how old we get, we still want FUN in our lives... wherever we can find it Planner Blessings!
Haha I paused the video when she said 8 planners. I'm trying to process this. That's a lot. I'll watch the rest tho because I love her videos. I'm thinking "planner" is just her term to use cuz I would imagine faith and other things are more for journaling? I guess I'll find out.
SO excited about this series! I'm 25 and building my life and I've been so overwhelmed because all of these categories have been bleeding together in my mind. It makes it so hard to keep track of everything and keep progressing forward or even see any progression forward. I'm learning to also take ownership of my life and each category. This has given me so many ideas and promptings to get organized and feel a little bit more in control and clear on which direction I'm headed. Thank you and keep the videos coming girl
People think I'm crazy when I say I use 4 planners but after a year of doing it like this if I throw everything into one I now feel claustrophobic! I have one for money/health tracking, one for personal/reading, a commonplace journal, and a work/school one. It's how it made sense for me :)
Love all your videos. For 2022 I purchased a colorblock happy planner layout to use as my catch all and a separate dashboard for work (just keeping 6 months on me at a time) and an old vertical to meal plan. Your videos inspired me to really Frankenplan to work for my season of life. Thank you so much for your videos!!

I feel more relieved now for having a different notebook for each thing I'm working on in my life. I adopted this style from school and needing a different notebook or 2 for each class.
I love this, I found my people lol. I absolutely love taking time to plan, it IS fun, at least for me too. My husband doesn’t get it, he sees me planning and says, “Oh you’re doing homework…” lol NOPE. I didn’t know there are other people out there like me until You Tube. Thanks for the great content

Good morning! I love a gal who uses multiples. I do too and I'll be explaining why in an upcoming video. As I watched, I got out my UA-cam planner and began making notes on my planning series. I will always credit those who inspire me. Planner Blessings!
I never cease learning something new from you, Alaina. Love the idea of a reading planner because I read a lot of books but don't have a central place for tracking them and my thoughts/quotes on them. This series is so helpful for me and gives me planner confidence.
Nice overview! I like a more muted planner also, and design and print my own pages. When it comes to happy planner, I often… No really, always, flip the covers so that the interior cover is the outside. I love the more subtle pattern that is usually on the inside cover. I wish they had more plain pages without colorful borders, a la carte. I also like reusable dividers that are beautiful. Those are a little bit hard to come by. I have a hobby notebook for my ideas and plans in different areas and I ended up using a black leather TUL disk binder with silver aluminum discs added, and I used graphic black-and-white scrapbook papers where the art represented areas like home, garden, photography, writing, music… I used adhesive to cover plain dividers, Including the original three holes, and once they were covered I could punch them for the disks. i’m not usually that crafty, but I like the result.
I can barely keep up with one planner as It is, but this video just made me want to have like 4. With the common ground planner, this is something that I TRULY need, but my thing is... I don't even know how to get my mind moving like the topics you have in yours.
I bought allllllll my 2022 HP Classics…….and I am just staring at them about to cry! Going back and rewatching your planner vids now :). I need a one on one class soon. Husband saw alllll these planners and me just staring fondly at their beauty. I have not even written in my Faith Planner & I was so excited to get on for my Jesus time!!! :)
Thank you for helping me reconfirm that I had chosen the correct digitial planner for me. Im able to import different add-on into the dividers. I just have to figure out now which weekly layout that would work best for me. This might take some time, but had purchased 2 different layouts to help figure that out. I look forward to viewing more videos in this series. I had looked into the membership but it is a little too expensive in Australian Dollars for me to include in my budget at the moment.

I am loving this series so much information on how to use you planner I had planners for years and all layouts but I was not really using them or even decorating them correctly August 2020 I decided to use sticker books them scrap paper and washi...well spent over $2000 in store and not counting internet orders and still was not to happy lol but watching your videos is what really helped me In Sept one of your videos you talk about changing your planner through the year and that had me thinking and retrying the Monthly layout for Oct and I am happy I did for it did not work out I would of had a 2022 planner not working for me in my catch all I am sorry long post but also will say this channel is what I refer on my FB groups to those starting out there so many great you tubers out there many decorating and i do not want someone to do what I did in spending the money but to learn on how to actually use the planner then decorate it :}
I'm up to two planners since last year, one for my spiritual life and one for the rest. Hoping to get some great ideas for how best to use them! I'm already liking the idea of a section for projects/hobbies, in this case cooking/recipes/menu ideas. 👍🎄😊

I really like the No dates, month or year in the Catch-All planner, so that you have control what you put in it. Haha my life is so basic and boring, I think a little flip notebook would serve me 😊

Can you show how to use outdated vertical planners. I have so many but the vertical lines drive me crazy. Can you show how to create a spread without following the lines?
I love time blocking the time blocking planner I would love to use for next year myself for 2022 and I'm learning more and more about the catch-all planner which is understandable because I need to write down what I eat everyday but I'm thinking of putting all that information in my health and fitness planner not to say that the ketchup planner is not good because at times I might need to write some notes on other things.
Love it! I have 3 new Happy Planners on it's way to me today and a Happy Planner notebook. One will be my Budgeting, one for my business I'm starting and not sure what the other one is going to be for I was thinking maybe I could make it something like my Law of Attraction/Affirmations planner and use the notebook for writing my notes when I take classes and learn and stuff. I definitely wanna buy more Happy Planners tho I'm addicted lol. Good video thank you for showing us what you use all your planners for it's nice to see to help with ideas. 🤗💞

I have many notebooks and planners, each one has its purpose. I feel writing things down is best practice and you cannot go wrong.
