The 9th and 10th passed me by and still no refund. My taxes got accepted on January 29th and i have received 2 letters saying that they need 60 days to review my returns. Here it is the 12th of July and still nothing. I have reached out to my congressman and they have submitted my information to the IRS but i haven't heard anything from them yet. I have already received my state refund so there must not be nothing wrong with my returns. I filed the 1040 return and didn't claim any deduction or tax credits. Enough of this bullcrap.
I filed on February 12 and on February 20. I checked my refund status and saw that there was a notice. I would be receiving a letter in 2 to 3 weeks telling me what information they needed. I waited actually over a month had made multiple calls and finally, had someone tell me what information they needed since I never received the letter. I immediately got copies of everything I was told was needed and sent those in on March 26 and was told that I should get my refund within six weeks. I then called in mid June and spoke to someone who told me that it had been far too long and that it should’ve already been processed so he talked to his supervisor and got my return pushed up, but then told me it would be six weeks before I received it and that would be July 29. On July 24, I received a notice from the IRS with code CP05 stating my return was being reviewed and it could take 60 more days so I am still waiting on my return
I filed (E-filed) January 31st simple return and on march 13th got stuck with the 570 Code. I am still waiting for a letter or something to explain to me whats going on. I have called twice and nobody gave me information to what is going on, another words they said I am not sure?? Well we can only wait so long this is BS.
They may never send u a letter contact your congressman or Tas and they can find out for u. I never received a letter either I had to contact my congressman they found out for me
@@larryboatright8562 that's not true. You need to create an online account. Look at transcripts. Everything you see on your online account is EXACTLY what the reps see. AND THAT'S ALL THEY CAN SEE.
Taxes still not accepted. Received cpo5 letter and immediately uploaded all requested documents on May 13. Called on July 15 and they can’t even confirm if they see my uploaded documents. This is ridiculous
@@gregg4218 you're not telling the truth or the rep you talked to was lazy. Which I find hard to believe. Because all the calls are monitored. Every call is reviewed and if rep makes an error. You get written up for it.
This is probably the dumbest response I’ve ever received. Why would I lie about this on a random channel about taxes? Do you work for the irs? Maybe you can help solve my problem

UNLESS YOU DIDN'T FILE THE RETURN THEN UPLOAD FORM 14039. IS THAT WHAT YOU UPLOADED? CP05 IS A LETTER TELLING YOU YOUR RETURN IS UNDER REVIEW. ITS TAKING A LONG TIME BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO VERIFY EVERYTHING ON THE RETURN. AND NOW THE NEW INFO YOU UPLOADED.
I am having the delay cost me a place to live... Being evicted... I filed then it took so long so i find out a letter sent needed verification...did that...received another notice checking numbers ...they all matched what i sent in ! Have to wait 60 days from July 15th will be Sept 15th...so awhile back i called for an advocate...and that takes a couple weeks...which puts me here as well... We will see what comes of this delay...number match deposit my return please! When i called for the advocate she said mine is further than most that call...was hoping she could speed it along... How do u put a trace on the payment or return ?

The latest we were told was to expect a 12c letter. That was until my wife spoke with someone at AQC whom told her there isn't any letters pending for us. So now IDK what is going on again. My transcripts have NEVER changed at we still show all zeros. The other is a Verification of Non-Filing Letter.
I don't know anything about an expedited amended return but I amended mine back in March. I got an update on the Wheres My Amended website a day after my 16 week mark. Spoke to someone today that informed me when a letter is scheduled to be sent out and it'll have the information on when to be expecting my refund. Hope that helps. I can give you the number I called to speak to an advocate if you'd like.

So I got approved for DD for 7/3 right, tell me how they PAUSED and CANCELED the refund and now I have to wait again. Nothing incorrect or anything. Same amount same items deducted, just have to wait

It took about 15 weeks for my tax return. But I did get it. And they also added taxable interest on top of it

Did you have code 807 on your transcript?
