Oh, the white crusty poop is too much bone? When mine eat 4 chicken feet a day, there's no white crust. But 5 I start seeing some white crusty. Is it bad? Or their body is releasing extra?
Don't use just feet for calcium and phosphorus they are not the best source. To much calcium and phosphorus are deadly for animals they are not water soluble with means they will not urinate the extra out please do yalls research on your own not just this channel even tho it is a great channel.
5 is fine but add some different meats just make sure they’re boneless ( balanced meal )

A little unrelated but I watched the short feed once a day!! Showing the pups. Ive switched to one meal a day. My pup is just over 3months, Weighs about 10kg im feeding raw including veg and recommended additions, 800g at 9am everyday, he seems satisfied but still a bit worried hes on the skinny side and will affect his growth on once a day. Any thoughts?

Are the chicken leg bones safe to eat? I've been scared to give them to them because of the small sharp pointing bone inside.

Hi Erica so I had those exact same concerns you have and I mentioned it to a 26 year professional dog trainer for military and police dogs… This gentleman is my sisters neighbor of about 18 years now and has become since part of the family. He says “ did their ancestors ever have a problem with choking on chicken bones? “ and that slapped me across the face and I thought to myself huh I never thought of it that way. 🤔😁He then gave me some great recipes for my pup and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve got a 77 pound Fawn coat Bluenose American Pitbull Terrier that is as strong and healthy and beautiful of a young dog could be. He’s the sweetest most loving caring protective blessing I could have ever imagined to come into my life and he is treated as such. I hope this helps you, also the other comment here about making sure it’s RAW only is absolutely 10000% true 👍🏽
Uncooked bones don't splinter, they smash. Matter of fact never give dogs cooked steak bones. People like to do that after going out for steak and bring the bones home for dogs. When cooked the cells in the bone fuse and make them hard on dogs teeth sometimes causing dental fractures.
Just to clarify, I'm taking about RAW chicken legs. My dogs only eat raw meat and bones. If you disect a chicken leg, there is the big bone and a small thin bone that has a sharp point. That's the bone I'm concerned about.
@@pit2rot1lab1 I went off a tangent and spoke on raw uncooked bones in general. Chicken bones are only dangerous cooked. Think about a wolf or any wild canine not surviving eating a live chicken. Unheard of right? Bones were never an issue until humans started cooking them changing their properties.
By the way my Staffy is 2 now and has been eating raw leg quarters every other night.

Please don't just rely on just these channels yall need to get books or do your own research. There's a lot of info out there I've been feeding our dogs a fresh raw diet a long time and I've learned everything on my own cause nobody knows our dogs like us

Is it ok to feed a super small kibble meal in the morning? And a heavy raw meal at night? I got working dogs can’t feed em too much in the morning as I need them to be hungry and driven during the day. Also can’t afford to feed 6 raw meals a day, I’ve been on this schedule for months now and haven’t noticed any short term health problems. I’m talk in less than a cup of kibble just to get something in their stomach in the morning for all of em.
