I would NEVER ever present a home to someone for rent or to buy that wasn't painted!!! How gross is that... did he at least clean the carpet!!! Bad property management 😟
Glen could at least paint everything flat white. Sheesh.People are desperate for housing and will take anything and add value for the owner, so roll with it. Can you say 'slumlord'?
I think removing the old garden was probably the best thing to do. It created a blank canvas for someone to create a lovely new garden, which could be attractive and also easier to maintain
That Spain couple are going to make their granddaughter stay in that puny room downstairs while having a nice spacious Guest Room upstairs. Nice, pffffft.
It's a sleepover space for a small child. She doesn't need prime real estate to sleep over. Some kids sleep on sofas or in sleeping bags on the floor when they sleep over at the grandparents' place. Your own room with a full bathroom close by is not bad for a kid sleeping over at the grandparents' house.
The English version of a nice house is so different. These houses and rooms are tiny. I do like retro, but these homes are so odd with their choices of flooring and wallpaper.
I agree, however, many things in England are smaller and more cramped due to so many people shoved onto such a small island. And unlike the U.S., England never really experienced the economic resurgence the U.S. did after WWll.
I am a Brit living in the US and many of the houses here are odd and tiny, so that is not just exclusive to the UK. What the UK does excel in is manners
@curlyfry - how can you judge all houses in the uk from a couple of houses that obviously belonged to old people! I have seen some truely awful decor in some american homes on tv and a rented villa that we stayed in while on holiday!
Cause people are fucking ignorant morons, that's why. They believe they are the only ones on the planet. It's amazing the diversity of taste when you consider 7 billion people exist on the planet. I can't quite figure out why every single damn house I ever seem to enter, there is one area that is some level of baby blue. I don't understand that ugly fucking color.
on the no-work property....smart for him....but where are the kitchen appliances? Also, I would bet that the tenant will never ever paint, if he lives there for the next forty years. On the plus side, he didn't pave over the grass, like practically every other developer does
I really really try to watch this show because I'm very into property but my lord I just find the bloke presenting so irrateing and the scripts so shockingly bad.. it's very tricky to watch from start to finish
Project 1: boring, unispired, ruined any charm, gravelled frontgarden? No way!!!😢 Project 2: lots of money put in, low in charm Project3: as long as they rent it out cheaply, ok
Steve's mum is very beautifully and glamerous ♥️Very talented tiler too!
Shame about the garden, although cluttered, I thought it had a lot if charm
I agree. Sure, clean it up a bit, and then work with what is there....now you have to start all over again

He says he has 65 properties and lots of people who want to rent from him. I guess they have low standards.

I think the previous owner's heart must be broken
Steve really sterilized the place didn't he. He ruined the garden and now all he has is grass. No personality at all, lol.
When is gravel ever a better choice than greenery? What's wrong with these people?
'tidy up" ? Like tidying up rainforests, I guess
And Lucy was on milkshake! In 2000
Hi I want to kw that wt maths is needed for shelf. like equal space in between pl help. for a kitchen curbed.

Ruined a charming garden

I like Glen's eyebrows. Looks surprised all the time. The presenter's hair and voice need a reno.

That Spain couple’s houses is ugly. Just goes to show money can’t buy good taste
And again, desecrating the garden...the ivy covered part was lovely before...again, no soul
Gosh I hate the music in these shows.
It's the best part. Don't you get it. It's all a pun
