Pssst...a wet bar has a sink. If it doesn't have a sink, it's not a wet bar.
The garage makes no sense tbh. Getting the left car out means you have to remove the first car and drive it all the way back on the driveway instead of having a wider angle to the garage. The rest is nice though

And supercars are just for fun they use other cars for daily uses
I like a lot of the features this home has but it feels very squashed rather than minimalist; especially the corridors which don't have room for 2 people to stand side-to-side. The space as a whole feels pretty small and each room feels like they wanted to get as much into it as they could. The cost as well seems more for the features in the home than the home itself, which is a shame; they should add to the home rather than being the focus.

It seemed like the builder forced certain materials in there because he wanted to use them instead of putting in materials that were called for. Also, that brown color is not going to age well.
The garage is cool but achieves the same purpose as a standard two car garage haha
I've seen a Dual vertical car elevator that can hold four cars in the same space. Rach elevator is about 100,000 though. The best part is there is a door in the basement so when you exit the car after its lowered into the shaft you can get out conveniently. In this particular owners case he has a car service built around the elevators.

I love the architecture of the house. It really is beautiful. But the darkness of the woods and stone makes me feel like I’d definitely have seasonal depression if I owned this home.

I have seen so many mansions villa's and houses but this certainly looks so different and as you mentioned it truly is unique
Love the garage. I'll definitely be taking ideas from this cozy structure to implement into my own home. Vail is beautiful, especially during Winter, but the crime rate is off the charts.

Very extravagant and modern. I personally don't find it cozy enough, it is too sterile, hard, and angular for my tastes. But I do like that the area is more wooded and quiet than the usual LA or desert area mansions.

Ive said it before but Im loving the Colorado series. Ive spent a good amount of time daydreaming about a cabin in Aspen on Billionaires mountain from 615sq ft apartment that I cant afford.

The quality is impressive.
But damn, that price is even more impressive. For that amount of money you can get a 10k sqft mansion in Texas - and another one in southern Spain. Plus the plane tickets to travel from one to the other. And still have money left over.

This house's mood of interior is perfect
I live and work in the Vail area and the real estate (buying, selling & renting) market is insane right now. Paying full asking price is impossible. You have to offer way more money on the same day the property is listed or you have no chance in hell of buying something. It was expensive to live here before the pandemic and now it is on a whole 'nother level. Lastly, great video as always Erik! The house isn't my taste, but you cannot beat the location at all.

Cool garage, nice master bedroom TV and bathroom mirror TV. Very enjoyable smart home.
I feel like the layout design leaves much to be desired. The hallways, stairs and closets are narrow -- Erik's shoulders barely fit! The primary suite & garage is a complete miss really. I do like the materials and tech throughout though.
That's what I felt too, buying a house for that kind of money should give you open spaces, yet everything felt cramped. That primary suite felt so small! I don't get why the stairs and the wet bar had to be hidden too.
Yeah the kitchen low ceiling and lighting looks like a office. Not much better to desire like you said
Maybe I'm weird, but I don't like open floor plans that much. Like yeah, I want to be able to fit, but narrow hallways and things like that make the house seem bigger to me, like a maze

This is a beautiful Vail, Colorado house. I like the gray marble kitchen, the master bedroom, the gray marble master bathroom. I think the garage could be bigger and the sliding car tech in the garage is not necessary.

Freedom units are crazy! A somewhat easy approximation is 10sq feet = 1 sq meter, that can help to have a better understanding

It’s a very average 2 bedroom home in any ski town, if you venture an hour or so from major ski towns, that’s a nice 3 bedroom home. You can find a very nice ranch style home in the countryside for that here though, completely depends how ‘out of the mountains’ you want to get.

Overall its a nice house. I like the finishes. I was surprised there was no home office. The home spa was interesting but I think I would do a Japanese Ofuro in place of the stainless steel tub an have two of them. one for hot and one for cold in the traditional Japanese manner. some of the rooms like the rec room seem overly small and a bit like an after thought. I would have like to see the server and infrastructure room. Given the amount of technology and wiring involved I would probably have done fiber optic between floors and smaller infrastructure rooms on each floor.. There are many great ideas to take from this home. It would be intteresting to discuss how the elements presented here might be implemented in a much smaller home of say 1000 square feet.

I really like all these different materials but mostly the wooden features because that‘s what the context is giving us. I just think in some rooms it seems a bit much (e.g the primary suite has so many materials i wouldn‘t call this "clean"). But it‘s a beautiful house and well thought through
