Feel like high command is gonna come in to figure out why one of their star destroyers has been producing "disgraceful" results... then find out a lone helldiver completed the mission with zero casualties... and reconsider their rating.
The game actually takes into account how much you destroyed on a mission and applies that to the "world statistics" to determine how strong the remaining forces are there, thus the defenses don't get weakened for future missions on that world but might even be stronger since the bots have less to defend with a lot of remaining forces from the previous failed defense. I do like the games Push Pull system, makes for a very interesting way of things as we can win objectives all day but still lose the war.
@@Lvcian_Guardianya that sounds like a cool idea! But unfortunately I don’t think that’s in the game yet. Destroying more factories “reduces enemy presence” in that mission, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t affect future missions

Running stealth on bot worlds seems to be the only way to successfully finish bot worlds. Taking lots of notes here though for advanced stealth tactics. Good shit, Diver! A tactic to try that I've learned: If you make it back to extraction without aggro, once you call in the dropship, many enemies spawn, but they actually don't have aggro on you, simply high alert of the area. So you can actually use the jetpack to get on top one of those rocks near evac, lay down, and they'll swarm around but never know where you are. I have done this on terminids and have gone the entire 2 minute ETA without being attacked until the dropship landed.
Alternatively, toss a grenade away from the LZ, as long as you're not detected most of the spawned enemies should go towards that location to investigate, clearing the LZ.
