Hi, I am stuck on Step 1. The two side panels are not sliding flush into the holes. Can you help me with this problem?

Ended up using hammer - with lots of padding and cardboard to not damage the veneer

Is there a way to mount this on the wall without the legs?!
I can't align the two side panels, the gaps are not in line, I tried a hammer, making the holes bigger and nothing. I don't know why yours seem to slide without any problem
Yeah, me too. I haven't tried making the holes bigger, cause I can't remove the sides. Just keep on hitting the sides with a mallet, and the last mm is not shifting. Never really had a problem with Ikea furniture before, apart from really heavy parts.
