I never tire of telling you that I admire you very much for the talent you have and the beautiful things you do, congratulations and also for your husband who cooperated with you, regards
You did an amazing job. I love the color you picked not just the paint but the stain too.I love watching your channel. You always do an amazing job on everything. Thank you for eveverything
Another beautiful build that checks all the right boxes! The faux chunky shelves could be inspiration builds housing hidey-hole safe places for jewelry, etc. Well, not now....everyone knows!!!! Blessings!!!!
I'm literally binge-watching all of your videos because I'm moving soon so trying to get ideas and see what I can actually do myself! This turned out so good :)))
When you put that USNA diploma/commissioning frame up, I got freaked out. I'm watching your video to plan out my bookcase/shelf build and I was planning on hanging my USNA frames in that exact spot. USNA '13!
The thing that I really like about this approach is that for only $20-30 more I can change the way the blocking has been handled underneath each shelf and actually create a stressed box member, so that the 'thick' look you're trying to achieve actually does something - namely it creates a stronger shelf and lets me put more books/weight on each shelf before I have to worry about visible sagging happening.
I found these videos amazing. You are definitely an inspiration. Now, if I can just get the energy to do the same thing it will make our (my and my wife's) office much nicer. Thanks!
That came out really nice Stefani, you and Devan did a great job on this. I been eye balling my wall and thinking about what you did here, you inspire my friend truly. Wishing you continued success on the channel Merry Christmas to you guys!!
Love this project, they ended up looking great! Quick question - if your shelves are .5in, wouldn't you be .25in short of the 2.5in face frame? .5in shelf + 1.5in spacer + .25in hardboard = 2.25in. Same for the sides and spacers. Am I missing something?
The paint color is fantastic. I love that you have given them so much storage in the unit. Another wonderful project completed. Hope your in-laws love it as much as we do. Nice seeing you and Devin working together on this. Wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎄🎄🎅🎅
I’ve been searching for videos about building bookcases and this is exactly what I was looking for, you explained everything so well thank you so much! Now I’ll have try to make mine as pretty as yours😊
Looks awesome. Wish I could hire you. Question why not use the Kreg jig to make the shelves adjustable in case you want to move them around later. You can drill the holes with the a kreg jig as I am sure you know.
Hi Stefani! I love this. I have a home office space that I'm going to redo over the summer. My husband does not like my maximalist design choices so my creativity is relegated to this one room in the house. The trade off for having these creative liberties is I have to do it all myself. Your videos give me great inspiration to achieve it, although I am not as focused as you and unfortunately, tend to give up quite easily. Can you share how long the process took you? How do you deal with setbacks and frustrations along the way?
Love the look. Not sure why you put 3/4 plywood AND beadboard in the shelves; I would have just used the beadboard as the backer since you don’t need that much strength to keep the shelves squared. I also would have definitely screwed through into studs, but maybe that’s my time in California.
Amazing work. Thanks so much for sharing. I am wanting to do something similar but I would like more storage cabinets under a long desktop. Do you think I could modify the height of a normal kitchen carcass to fit?
From UK here and this is one of the best study built ins I’ve seen! ❤
I never tire of telling you that I admire you very much for the talent you have and the beautiful things you do, congratulations and also for your husband who cooperated with you, regards
Thank you for the kind words, Sandra!
This looks so professional and makes the room look larger
I'm always surprised by how much bigger a space looks with a wall of built ins... Really great job!
You did an excellent job! Your in-laws are blessed to have you.
It's just beautiful. Hats off lady!
I love the look of the crown molding on the top even though it's not flush with the ceiling - never would have thought of that!
The most impressive part is how you freehand cut such straight lines using your circular saw!
Yeah how are you doing that?
The bookshelf unit is beautiful. Your craftsmanship is amazing, you've very talented. Nicely done!
Your builds are always the best! So high quality, sturdy looking, and you make them so accessible with your fantastic instructions!
Its amazin how you freehand stear the circularsaw without a track or anything! Great design as well!
I'm just having a wee coffee as outside is freezing (-4degrees here in Scotland). Your video notification came just on time. Wonderful finish.
Your professional work keeps surprising me

Currently making our office the same way except base is handmade and I have a butcher block countertop. Love the projects Stefani. Go Air Force!
They are so lucky to have you as there daughter in law
Looks fantastic, I missed the 360 with the standing desk in the end for the grand finale.
I'm literally binge-watching all of your videos because I'm moving soon so trying to get ideas and see what I can actually do myself! This turned out so good :)))
wow this is just incredible! Looks like so much work!
These are awesome! Your work always looks so clean. Love the idea of the hard board and blocking to thicken up the shelving.
You make everything look so easy! It’s beautiful!
goodness that trim at 9:32 makes such a difference, im so impressed
You have done a damned great job. I would have said that it was done by a professional joiner.
Keep up the good work. I am very impressed.
Hi Stefani, this one is my favorite!
LOOKS SO GOOD! You’ve inspired pretty much all the projects I’ve done in my house; dining room & living room builtins and my bedroom closet.

It turned out beautiful. amazing job.
Wow that's so amazing brilliant great job looks fantastic loved it and thank you for sharing enjoyed watching
Amazing video. I will try many of your ideas during the renovation in my house.

nicely done.
Could you put a Billy bookcase on top of the cabinet?
Really awesome job! Can you link the cabinets you purchased from IKEA?
Love the look.

Link for the picture light? Very inspiring video! Thanks!
It's from Amazon! bit.ly/3CHsyr4
Just perfect
amazing job!!!
Thank you!
Super nice!
Great video, is there a reason why you top coated the countertops after you installed them and not when they were detactched???
How tall are the shelving units? What is the distance between each shelf? Are there plans?
What Ikea Base cabinets did you use? Amazing job!
Absolutely beautiful. Which model cabinets from IKEA did you use?
wow Beautiful
Wow amazing 👍❤
So awesome
How tall are the cabinets and how tall is the ceiling? Great work!
Thats mazing so talented
Hello, Wow, Congratulations Cool 👍👏👏👏👏👏
Please can you link all the materials where you got them from? thank you
Very nice and gave me some great ideas for my wall as well. Also, I see that father in law is a pilot...and maybe a Marine Aviator? Great job!
Happy to help!! The pilot is actually my husband! I see you must have flown the Harrier by your name!
Great video I am using this technique for my own office! Question: How did you secure the backer board to the trim on the shelves? Thanks!
Would you have been able to leave the hardboard off a couple of shelves to hide the back wall screws inside?
