I got one of the early ones of this. Very good sound and performance in the midrange.
Few things to note - if one has got the tail tidy (project 83x), then the exhaust gases hit the indicator directly and creates a lot of noise. So i had to get aftermarket indicators.
For some reason, my top speed has reduced by a bit. Stock exhaust used to be able to easily do 105-110 but on this it feels the bike is hitting its max at 100 or so.
The 4v has a lot of issues with shutting off on its own and seems it is increased after i put this exhaust.
I plan to get the powertronic ECU whoch should aolve some issues. Among the myriad aftermarket exhaust uve seen, quickshift seems the best.
Oh, I wasn't aware of the top end issue since we just do trails.

@@Nomad129 i recently got my bike serviced at a well known garage in Bangalore who's quite a name in the racing scene. He checked the quickshift exhaust and opened it as it was making a rattling sound and found that the welds had come off inside the can.
Unfortunately the performance of this exhaust isn't up to the mark. As described in my first comment, my top speed has reduced and low end is also not that great. I tried a Norifumi exhaust on one bike at the garage and it has fantastic low end.
Imo don't purchase the QuickShift exhaust. And no it's not good for touring as the top speed is reduced and to counter that you will have to install a performance air filter and get an ecu etc. Stick with the stock exhaust or get a KTM end can and XPulse 2v bs4 bend pipe which will route the exhaust from above the engine.
And for trails, I'd suggest Norifumi instead of this.
@@Nomad129 I got my bike serviced couple of days ago and the garage which is run by quite a famous guy told me that the welds inside the end can. Had to open it and it was a combination of glass wool and steel wool which frankly I wasn't told about when purchasing. So my guy put additional glass wool and welded it properly and fixed quite a few air leaks.
As stated in my original comment, the top speed suffers, so I wouldn't suggest for touring. The quickshift guys tell me now that I need to put a performance air filter to get Max performance. If your need is touring, then I wouldn't advise this. Maybe go for a KTM exhaust some people have and get the XPulse 2v bs4 bend pipe.
Also my mechanic had a bike with Norifumi exhaust. Trust me, the low end and mid range grunt with the Norifumi is far better than this quickshift. I'd advise everyone to go for the Norifumi than this. Far better performance.

You'll need some sort of aluminium plate covering the exhaust. You can't place a soft bag directly on top of the exhaust.
How does this fare in comparison with Motowings & Norifumi? Did you try those out as well?

Not sure. Never used just a slip on for the XPulse.
