- This episode we are shown how the sisters lived before they were enemies... kinda. May loses her mind trying to keep her sister close. The entire thing gets burned to the ground in the most ridiculous of ways. This is the worst Star Wars show to date.

How did the Jedi know about the kids? Worse yet, how did the kids know about the Jedi? Did the witch-moms, who obviously don't like the Jedi, feel compelled one day to teach the kids all about the Jedi, who they despise, and then the kids learned so much about the Jedi that one of them actually wants to reject her entire upbringing and join them?

I take your word for it so that I do not have to waste my time. My recommendation, Defending Jacob and Dark Matter both on Apple. Kill the Acolyte, finish Foundation and the Boys and Witcher.

Later it is stated that these four Jedi were assigned to this planet outside but on the edge the Republic space. Why do the Jedi feel they have any authority outside Republic space? Why would the Jedi council send four Jedi to an empty planet? Because they knew force users have gone there? If for some other reason wouldn't one Jedi be enough? The council has reason to believe they are dangerous, have powers greater than the Jedi? Why do the Jedi just pretend they were just in the neighborhood and saw a light on? Why do the Jedi have a report on the fire and death of everyone but omit Mae's existence and that the dead were force users? Even Yord read the damn thing about Ohsa's family, it seems to be common knowledge. Why if the council sent them there in the first place and managed to get Ohsa as a Padawan not bother to try to figure out how she came to exist with no father? Why did they let her leave the order? Did the four Jedi lie in their reports and why?
The story has so many plot holes it's impossible to make any sense of unless there is an evil actor high within the Jedi ranks. What would this persons motivations be? Why didn't they just erase all files on the incident? If not an evil actor how can anything be kept secret from the council that put everything into motion? A mystery box to be left closed until episode 5, 6, 7 , 8 or never (season two)? Do they even know the answer to any of these questions?
Maybe a well crafted story made by talented writers that has well fleshed out and interesting likable characters could pull this off but this show doesn't have any of that. You don't write a terrible book and expect the readers will all love it and understand the why when they have read the final chapter. Most will never suffer to read it that far and why would they? Wade through this smelly trash, there is a pay off later I promise (maybe). I'm trying to be entertained, not suffer, you want me to pay for this garbage? Why?
It’s bad now but I believe at some point it will get turned around. Just takes one good director or a great show runner to get things back on track. Optimism is all I have left lol. Thanks for watching my friend

You tried, Smitty. And it was a noble effort. I wanted to give this a try. But when they clearly use contrived circumstances to drive their already poorly plotted stories forward, I had to step away. My sanity is too important.

I don't think the girl killed everyone with fire. The Jedi probably saw the fire and wanted to help, which is when they came across the witches. Then there was a fight and the Jedi slaughtered the witches. That's the only thing that makes sense and would also explain why the one hovering Jedi swallowed the poison. If you want to review the boys, please do so from season 1 onwards.
How did the Jedi slaughter the witches? I think if a fight broke out, they would have used their lightsabers, but I saw no severed limbs or heads or lightsaber scorch marks or anything like that. Force powers? The witches had force powers too, and they outnumbered the Jedi. It is strange, and I hope the question gets a satisfactory answer, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I guess we will see. The Jedi are clearly sorry for something they did. Unless they just feel second hand guilt for the being the catalyst the destroyed the coven. I don’t get it. And I don’t think the Jedi killed them. The witches could have destroyed all four Jedi with ease.
@@BroadMeadow-d9s You're absolutely right. But: It's Disney. Have you ever seen corpses with battle scars at Disney? The witches had no signs of burns and I don't think they would have waited in a heap until they all died of smoke inhalation. I don't like the show so far either. But I would find an approach exciting in which the Jedi aren't just portrayed as 100% perfect benefactors. It also seemed to me as if they were using indirect pressure to try to steal the children away from their "family" (if you can call it a family).

I watched the first two episodes, and I felt nothing positive towards it. I don't know who it's for. And I don't know what the story is trying to work up to. And it looks weird... not sure what it ease, but everyone looks like they are wearing costumes... which is not an observation I'm used to.
So I don't intend to watch it further myself... which is why I'm here. to get the synopsis from you.
YES I was thinking the same thing. I don’t know if it’s because of how it’s shot or the super clean fresh from the cleaners costumes. It looks like a bad Sci-Fi show. Like a cheaply Star Trek episode. I appreciate you watching my friend
