I always wanted to stream games and listen to some music I like (it reduces my stress and social anxiety) without having to listen to lame copyright free playlists. I usually use Shadowplay but it seems that I need to re-install OBS again. I hated OBS once because it was so weird to use and the stream key thing was often buggy af. I don't know how much has changed since 2016 but I hope I don't have re-enter my stream key a thousand times for it to work
Lmao this only works if you have a dedicated capture card like elgato, goxlr, etc. Otherwise you need voicemeter or have to be ok with either Music through speakers or stream/games through speakers and music through headset. You can't have both stream thru headset and use this method to direct chrome/firefox/opera/IE also to headset.
...... I might try this but honestly I've been considering just sharing a Spotify "Jam" and using headphones with a track display. I'm not gaming tho so its different (artist)
This but from the PS5 is what I'm trying to figure out. I want an enhanced experience with movie soundtracks but I know I can't put it through to my Livestream but I wanna hear it just me lol
so just checking i get this rite, viewers can't hear what i'm listening to unless they hover over the sound label and click it to listen to it? so the only sound they hear is the game unless they chose to listen to the music?
What is OBS / elgato? I Run my lap top with 2 external monitors (HDTV's) when I edit with Davinci Resolve & i would like to be able to have 3 different audios one for each monitor and the laptop on the head phones. Is this possible?
You should be able to setup each program to go through a different audio device/channel, but specifically to a device can be difficult and requires a more extensive setup than this video covers.
You have to use the extension and make sure it doesn't go through OBS or whatever software you're using. As long as whatever you're doing is not sending it to stream directly through your software then you're fine. Basically the premise of this video is a way to make sure only you can hear the audio and it DOES NOT go to the stream. The Amazon Music app in Twitch explicitly states the above, but listening through the extension/app AND not making it go directly to stream with the way I provided means that others with Amazon Prime or Music can listen along with you.
Make sure the audio going to your stream is the same as the audio being provided to you. The trick is to force Chrome or your browser to go to a different audio output than what is going to your stream. So if you listen to headphones then have Chrome go to your headphones, but OBS will still use High Definition Audio device since your music still should be going through there.

So my question is it should work with UA-cam Music while streaming on youtube should be the same thing right?
wondering the same thing
Dude, yes! I've always wondered how you did that Amazon Music extension or whatever it is in your Twitch streams. Thank. You!
there is a much better workaround than this
I agree. Which is why I made a video on it! OBS How to Split Twitch Audio and WHY You Should

But splitting the audio like this you can't hear game audio and music at the same through your headset. Is there is workaround for this?
Dude I love you. I don’t know you and I don’t care. You are loved and you deserve everything you are manifesting. Namaste 🙏🏾🕉️🔥
So if i use amazon music on android while livestreaming on twitch i can't get copyright

@@JHowTech oh ok i wanted to know cause i didn't want to get copyright
But if I understand this correctly, you can't listen to the game sound and your music at the same time ?
Thank you for this you are amazing
Now only I can hear game audio and my music but the stream can only hear my mic how do I fix that?

This was very helpful. I made the mistake of streaming the audio like normal thinking I was okay. I didn't fully understand what i needed to do.
Glad this was able to help :)

Great video! Much thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
