A year kinda seems like a long time. But soon enough we’ll be in 2024 and wondering wtf we did last year!? So, this video is about making sure that, when you answer that question, you can say - “I changed my fricking life for the better” 👌
How can you make sure 2023 is your best year yet?! Well, to me, it all starts with reflecting on where you want to get to by the end of the year. And then setting a small number of goals that allow us to focus each day on moving towards that ideal picture of ourselves at the end of the year 📈
Because here’s the thing - it’s way too easy to get on with our daily lives, doing the best we can at each of the little tasks that we face, without realising that all these tasks were leading in the wrong fluffing direction. We did s*1t well - but we did the wrong s*1t.
So, this video is about making sure you do the right s*1t all year long, and end up looking back thinking - hell yeh, I bossed that, and am right where I want to be 😃
There will, without doubt, be parts that you get hugely wrong, that go completely tits up, that you regret and that you wish had gone differently. It won’t be perfect. But, by having clear focuses for the next 8760 hours, you’ll definitely finish the year closer to where you want to be than where you’re starting it.

    About Me
I'm a lawyer, part-time UA-camr, son, brother, startup founder, fiancé, black coffee drinker and plant dad. I graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied French and Spanish), topped my law school class and now work for a corporate law firm in London as a trainee solicitor (which takes up a lot of my time)!
Around that, I'm a big fan of discovering new ways of thinking, of balancing work with life, and of performing to the very best of my ability. Ohh, and being happy. And I try to share all that on this UA-cam channel 😀
Fun fact: I believe we massively overplay the role of “natural talent” 😮 AND… I also believe that TOGETHER, WE ARE ALL CAPABLE OF POSITIVITY, PRODUCTIVITY AND SUCCESS.

Honestly, we have a lot of time. People will just spend it doing things that matter to them. If you’re not giving it time, it doesn’t matter enough for you.
So when people say “I don’t have time”, it’s untrue, you’re just not that interested.

Thanks for the video. You may eventually want to reconsider having your attention fragmented in so many directions. If you’re having fun and not getting too stressed from all these projects at the same time, great, but if it is pretty stressful, the worst thing is to burn yourself out.

We should use our time in life to be in a better place in life in a few years, we keep on doing that and that's it, then we die, that's the purpose of life?

According to me ,it's like don't spend time doing things which you'll regret later (loads of UA-cam shorts, too much screen time on social media - these give illusion of happiness and best to keep it at bare minimum If not 0).
Instead,do things which will make you feel better later (health, skill development, hobbies, learning, travelling, helping others -these are the things which give happiness ).
Everyone of us have free time, what matters is how well we use it.

@@tnijoo5109 I have chronic pain, so I'm lucky to sleep four hours straight before pain wakes me up. Then I have to get up for a bit and walk around, take my medications, etc. Then I usually sleep for two more hours or so. I usually have to get up at around 3am. Fall back to sleep around 4am, and then I have to get up at 6am to get my kids up for school. I work from home, so sometimes during my lunch break, I'll actually just take a nap instead of eating.

So for some reason I am always recommended British youtube rs which is fine but like ive never been there so I like don't really know the culture. The accent is rad.
I do like to hear how men see themselves. Its such a mystery. Like what is it like to know that whatever institution your thought of as a person who can do anything. Like I watched a women be embarrassed that she didn't have her nails done and yet envisioned a whole set for swaroskwi jewelry. Yeah women work with their hands like what.
I guess the biggest thing that makes goal setting more like a barrier is that nobody actually tells you that living in a city is different from the 20th century like how do you make a computer. Like what is advertising. And what is algorithms. And a.I. and why women have skincare and lululemon but men have bio hacking. Like that's my take on what's out there. Like why is there a difference. And I'm not saying I don't like being in the west I just don't think that its introspective is not as good as it could be because the east is covertly toxic.
