This is my favorite tribute to him, so far..real people talking about a President who remained humble and giving and candid. Someday this country will realize what a treasure he was.

When I was a kid growing up in Georgia we took a field trip to Plains and met Miss Lillian. Everyone got a little pamphlet about the President, signed by his mother, and a little bag of peanuts!

My grandparents are refugees left vietnam in 1977. Thank you, Mr. President, for saving my family in 1978 so that I can live in this freedom country. Rest in peace 🕊

I saw the Habitat for Humanity in San Pedro Sula, Honduras 🇭🇳 in September 2024 and I know people there are honoring him now. RIP President Carter, you've earned your wings to travel all over the world with the angels...

RIP President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalyn Carter. I visited Plains the year he was inaugurated. Proud to say I voted for him.

I've been loving all these videos the last few days. It really shows how down-to-earth President Carter was.

My grandma Bobby Carter was born in 1900 in Richland Ga , her dad was Jesse T Carter , Jesse's older brother Littleberry Walker Carter had a son named William Archibald Carter and his 4th child was James Earl Carter Sr , born in 1892 . And James senior's 1st child was James Jr my 3rd cousin . My dad was born Oct 23rd 1924 , our cousin Jimmy was born Oct 1st 1924 . I know all of this because of cousin Jimmy taking 1.5 yrs of his time to put today this green book of the Wiley Carter history , who had 12 children and from those just 2 I mentioned . And it resulted in a 3 day family reunion in May of 1998 . And i met cousin Jimmy at the reunion and exchanged couple of letters from him and the Carter Center. Full life of giving to others . Most of all an example of living what you believe .

He’ll have to explain to Jesus why he was against Israel & also supported her enemies!

Carter was a man of peace. He tried anyway. As for Israel, Israel is apostate, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem annually have one of the biggest gay pride parades and celebrations in the world. Oh, and they hate Jesus Christ.
