The only thing I can think is some people may not have like her comment about "make rules" and how she is a little fed up with them lately. She mentioned that in her date night video 3 videos before this one. I like the Emily gives her honest opinion, Some people get their feeling hurt because we live in a "feelings" world these days. Emily please keep giving up your honest opinion even if others don't want to hear it.
I think it happened because makeup is getting more and more expensive and they don’t want to be tempted. I didn’t watch makeup videos for two years . I I didn’t unsubscribe from Emily but she was the only one.

I have gotten some glowy ones to give me about 5-6 hours max, but it’s a huge amount of prep and then I’m always ready to look and be able to fry French fries on my face 😂😂
I mean you can’t blame Emily for doing what works best for her skin. She’s not oily, so her skin won’t need to stay matte all the time. If you want more oily skin recs, it’s best to follow influencers with oily skin.

i appreciate everyone elses approach to makeup too! I watch some creators on yt that their preferences do not match mine... like people who enjoy A LOT of colorful eyeshadow looks...its not for me but I still enjoy watching their videos bc i can see their love for makeup just like I LOVE makeup... For me, its about the LOVE OF MAKEUP regardless how you get there.
I use the e.l.f. halo glow as my "foundation" on lazy days with some spot concealing. I'll set my t-zone and undereyes and maybe fill in my brows. Then if I do find myself wanting to run errands or go out somewhere, I can always add bronzer and/or blush, some mascara, maybe a lip gloss, and I'm good to go! I also love how in my oily areas, I don't notice the halo glow breaking down like most foundations will throughout the day, but my skin looks so good!

Hi Emily, I love your tangent why you were doing your brows. I feel the same way. Personally, I like to do my make up different every single day. Sometimes I have 45 minutes, sometimes I have five minutes to get out the door. Sometimes I have 45 minutes but I just don’t feel like doing my make up for that long. I love to mix it up I think it’s so interesting to hear how other people do their make up. You get a lot of great ideas that way.

I started using the Beautyblender puff and I can’t believe what a game changer it is been. The way each side really helps product get into the skin is amazing. My makeup lasts all day without primer and it helps pores and fine lines. I think puffs are much better than I previously considered.

Hi Emily I have always loved makeup, but I wear different looks/amounts of it for different things. I agree that it's what we want it to be for us. My everyday look takes about 10 to fifteen minutes - depending on whether I'm doing a very simple or more involved eye look. For a night out or special occasion then the longer/more involved makeup application is part of the experience for me. I can also do a very quick minimal look if I'm really short on time lol. This is a very Fall/Autumnal look and I'm still in Summer mode lol. I have my holiday at the end of the month to go to, before I'm really ready for Autumn. Despite being a three month season on the calendar, in reality it's often a short season in feel or weather wise in Scotland. Winter temperatures and weather are usually here by the end of October and Summer temperatures can last into the start of September. Winter can feel very long here and I'm just not ready to be done with Summer I guess. Best wishes.
Ohh the Violet Voss palette looks beautiful. I really love the brand. They have really nice easy to use pigmented mattes and shiny sparkly shimmers. The I Rust You palette is stunning!!!! Perfect for fall but almost no one even noticed it releasing last year

Wow! Now I know why you loved this look so much! This is a perfect look - complexion, eye shadows, blush and new bronzer and lipstick/gloss are all beautifully meshed together. I can't wear warm colors at all, so I love to see them on you because your skin tone, hair and eyes are sensational with that palette.

Hi Emily, I love your tangent why you were doing your brows. I feel the same way. Personally, I like to do my make up different every single day. Sometimes I have 45 minutes, sometimes I have five minutes to get out the door. Sometimes I have 45 minutes but I just don’t feel like doing my make up for that long. I love to mix it up I think it’s so interesting to hear how other people do their make up. You get a lot of great ideas that way.

I started using the Beautyblender puff and I can’t believe what a game changer it is been. The way each side really helps product get into the skin is amazing. My makeup lasts all day without primer and it helps pores and fine lines. I think puffs are much better than I previously considered.

Hi Emily I have always loved makeup, but I wear different looks/amounts of it for different things. I agree that it's what we want it to be for us. My everyday look takes about 10 to fifteen minutes - depending on whether I'm doing a very simple or more involved eye look. For a night out or special occasion then the longer/more involved makeup application is part of the experience for me. I can also do a very quick minimal look if I'm really short on time lol.
This is a very Fall/Autumnal look and I'm still in Summer mode lol. I have my holiday at the end of the month to go to, before I'm really ready for Autumn. Despite being a three month season on the calendar, in reality it's often a short season in feel or weather wise in Scotland. Winter temperatures and weather are usually here by the end of October and Summer temperatures can last into the start of September. Winter can feel very long here and I'm just not ready to be done with Summer I guess. Best wishes.
Ohh the Violet Voss palette looks beautiful. I really love the brand. They have really nice easy to use pigmented mattes and shiny sparkly shimmers. The I Rust You palette is stunning!!!! Perfect for fall but almost no one even noticed it releasing last year

I find it interesting that I can use the same foundation colors as you but I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Works great for me because I am not good at seeing the different undertones like you so thanks for your knowledge about makeup 😊
