I LOVE Elf lip stains. I have the nude shade and absolutely love it. I was wearing it all day today. And yes, you’re right, they do get glossier the longer you wear them 😊

As someone with oily, acne prone skin, I can totally vouch for the camo concealer. I never use it under my eyes or for highlighting cause it's so pigmented, but I can take the tiniest pinpoint on my finger, tap it over discoloration, and it absolutely conceals. And stays so long!
could you do a full-day wear test? Since you wear many strobed and illuminating products, I want to see how your makeup looks when the oil start starts to kick in.

Elf just got rid of those lip balms I believe and replaced them with new ones that are way smaller and have no color to them but I have heard that they’re dupes for the Lanege lip balms the squeeze tubes. They look really cute. Loved this video. Elf is my favorite drugstore brand ❤

Haven’t picked up the wands just cause I have things I’m trying to get used up, plus I just don’t think I would use them that much! Love using their products mixed in with my high end makeup and I always get a beautiful look! Oh they just dropped some new 10 pan eyeshadow palettes that look so pretty and neutral!!
I don’t think that the Elf HD powder gets enough love. I’ve used both the HD and the Halo over the years. As a powder lover, I think the HD is superior. It, too, had a glow under certain lights. I just think it’s better than the Halo.

I love elf but I don’t understand the hype around the sticky primer . I got a travel size because I didn’t think I’d like it and I don’t. It’s so sticky and unpleasant to apply and my makeup doesn’t stay on any longer when using it 😢
Do you have any tips for dry patches? I have similar skin type to you but no matter how good my skin prep is, my makeup always seems to lift/is patchy on one of my cheeks 🙃

I had the opposite experience with the no budge shadows. My brown is dry and the pink is super creamy. Interesting I love the ride or die balms but it sounds like they’re replacing them with a squeeze balm that isn’t as hard to get it. Not as thick as the ride or die and more sheer unfortunately 😢
100% to the power grip primer, halo glow powder and the setting spray! They are absolute staples and so glad you introduced me to them. Especially good since I am using tretinoin and my skin has drastically changed (combo to dry). Putty blushes are next on my list!
Love this! Been wanting to branch out more in the drugstore. Would love to see L’Oréal next. And maybe a drugstore makeup brush video since I noticed you didn’t touch on any with Elf. Btw, I think those Ride Or Die Lip Balms were discontinued. 😭 They aren’t on elf’s website but they have new squeeze lip balms (Laneige glowy balm dupes?!).
Rosé You Slay is alwayssss patchy on me 😭 I’ve tried different forms of application methods, but it’s just the product unfortunately. I still like it on top of other cream blushes though!

i think the blue one is supposed to be "anti-blue light" which tbh sounds very gimmicky. the green is a staple for me!!
