    1. Eye Contact (meaningful and truthful- “the eyes are the gateway to the soul”)
    2. Text analysis ( ask why? Think of the subtext of what you’re saying)
    3. Use your own voice ( Don’t change the vocality or dynamic of your voice, unless specifically told to do so)
    4. Make good relationships ( with the people you’re working with)
    5. Good physicality ( present the physical elements of the character effectively, their stance, the way they move ect)

    I hope to become an actress soon. You'll see me in a movie and as an inspirational speaker. My life and journey is total chaos but worth sharing to the world. One thing I'll tell u is that my life is about me living with severe mental illnesses, yes its plural but I'm gonna succeed. I will tell my crazy life story and become a professional actress. My type is playing people like me, troubled, struggling, but turned out to be a success story. Living with schizophrenia and bipolar is very tough and scary but I promise to persevere. I am here for you. I want to inspire you. I want to make a difference in your life. I even want to write my own story about my life and journey. I want to bring change. My name is Jasmine Dannielle Wilson and I am here. Good luck to my fellow actors and I hope you all succeed. Never ever give up.

      I can't wait to watch your story inspire the world. In your low moments remember there's one person who's been inspired by you, and I know it won't stop there; not even close.❤

    • @HeyItsJDanni
      @HeyItsJDanni 3 роки тому +5

      @@sonijya thank you so much. I appreciate it. There have been lots of highs and lows. I want to be remembered for the things I've done for others, how I inspired them and impacted their lives and caused them to spread my message to others. I just want this world to be a better place and I want people to know that any and everything is possible. Just promise yourself to persevere. And never ever give up. Perseverance is key. Becoming successful is a long hard journey but when you believe in yourself it is worth it. You appreciate success more when u know you endured through the hardships and sacrificed so much for that one special thing. If you truly believe in yourself, then you've already won. Good luck

    im 14 years old and i've been making and starring in mini movies with my friends practically my whole life and i've been part of multiple plays. recently i've looked more into acting and considering it as a professional career. it is it too late for me to begin acting and considering it professionaly?

    • @TheActorsAcademy
      @TheActorsAcademy  3 роки тому +18

      No, many people begin at various ages. It’s important to know that it requires a lot of dedicated work and time. Think about how much time a concert pianist must work, that is the same for an actor 👍🏼

    • @nataliaacevedo8985
      @nataliaacevedo8985 3 роки тому +7

      I am not a professional and I am barely just starting in the industry, but just so you know it is never too late. You can chose to do acting when you're an adult or child it doesn't matter. It may seem too late because a lot of well known actors have been acting since they were little kids. Everyone's path is different and if you think that this is what you wanna do then do it. I guess the only thing you should do before you start is to get into acting classes, watch other actors and learn from them, also research on the industry because that will help you a lot. Also learn how to handle rejection because in this industry it happens a lot.

I will never give up, with God as my witness. Listen to me, whoever you are, you can achieve whatever dream you want. You just have to believe in yourself, even when no one else will. My issue with using my own voice is that I have a speech impediment. A stutter that is VERY unpredictable. It can vary from nonexistent to extremely evident. When I play a normal character, I tend to add an accent because for some reason I never stutter with an accent. In my own voice I stutter, without it, I don’t. Do I still keep my own voice or no?

    Hi, I don’t know if you’ll see this but it would mean so much if you can respond. There is an old animated show you’ve probably heard of called avatar the last air bender, and Netflix is making a live action remake of it. They announced about a year ago that they would be doing open call auditions online in late 2019, but then covid happened. I’ve been wanting to get into acting for forever, and since I’m such a huge fan of the show, I thought it would be a good idea to audition. I don’t have any professional experience, and I have no way of telling if I actually have talent or not, but I want to try. I made a resumé and took my own headshots. There is a specific character who I am quite similar to (in my opinion) that I want to audition for. I’m assuming that it would be a self-tape because they said the first round will be online. Do you know how I can stay updated for new information, how else I can prepare, if I have a chance at all, etc.? Thanks for all of your videos they’ve been so helpful!

    • @nataliaacevedo8985
      @nataliaacevedo8985 3 роки тому +1

      Hi, I am not as much informed in the industry as others, but I guess this might help a little. First of all you should definitely do it because well who knows it could led to something. I mean Emma Watson loved the Harry Potter books so she auditioned and look at her now. You should definitely take classes or watch others on tv. Do whatever you can to learn from other actors. It helps with growing your acting skills. Also I recommend you check out some videos from others who are in the industry on head shots and resumes and self taps because it will be helpful. Something you should prepare for is rejection. It happens a lot and the only way to continue is to understand how to deal with it and it's always for a different reason. Sometimes it can be looks, talent, etc. Just know that it may not always be because of you, but because someone did it better. I hope you get the part you want!
