I want to be a stage performer but costume characters on stage most things that are physical stunts martial arts things but with costume characters I mean performing for kids on stage like sesame Street live or Barney. Thats a live stage show most likely I'm a dancer and I'm moving to tell the story. also like the shows they have at Disney world. But it's touring shows if you understand what I mean
Hi, I've been watching you for awhile now and am wondering what credibility you have. Like what projects have you worked on. I just want to know if your advice is real or not
Thanks for all your pieces of advice. I'm a 'late-bloomer' actor. I started doing professional TV and movie acting at 45! Been doin it for the past 1 yr and 7 mos. I am now devoting time to watching acting tips on youtube. Your videos are very helpful.😍
My passion is character creation, and I have been acting for nearly all of my life of 71 years. To be an actor is life long learning, and you never stop discovering new things. I love your classes..thank you :)
I wanna become a tv/movie actor. At the moment I’m doing theater in school, but I do want to focus on tv/movies. Do you have any tips since I’m already doing theater?
hopefully this may help but remember on screen and theater are different so if u ever get like a commercial/series or movie , act realistically compared to theater where u almost have to be extra
I suggest taking acting classes also to add up on your experience, have professional headshots taken, create your resume, self submit yourself to casting calls on websites, find an agent/manager and just do your best :) you got this!
Hi! I’m in the same page... What I did first is an exercise of self-knowledge: what are my good points and what should I work on? In my case I saw I needed to work on my diction and my physical tension, so I took up different exercises to get my body used to this work to avoid thinking about this during my acting. It seems very basic, but we tend to forget this kind of things assuming we’ve learned them already, and this is not always true. Also, I read out loud frequently, but not only to work on my diction but also on my acting, as if I was telling the story to someone else. And also, as it is said in this video, I work with the camera: I pick some good scenes of monologues that I like, rehearse them in different ways and record myself. I hope you find here something helpful! 😊
I've got to ask, what's your opinion on certain actors in Hollywood who are not really the best actors but constantly get big movie and tv roles? This tends to annoy a lot of actors who always work on their craft but struggle to get cast so I want to hear your thoughts on this.
Something I do when I watch bad acting is pinpointing the areas I thought were a bit off, figuring out why they were off and doing the scene again, trying to improve it. It helps me get the body language and the lines in sync when I'm on set.
I'm 13 and I wanna act in superhero movies like Dr. Strange from Marvel. I'm actually practicing the Lines of Newt from the script "Fantastic beasts and the Crimes of Grindewald."
I wanna be a actor who can do everything like u said, I wanna be a actor who can do comedy, serious scenes, mad scenes, and everything I wanna be a all rounder 😇😇 And by the way your video is great as always 😇😇
@@TheActorsAcademy I also have a question Are all actors are not all rounder I mean if we pick up any actor like RDJ he is a all rounder I guess so I really didn't understand that point about what kind of actor u want to become 🧐🧐

When I’m practicing I am not usually in front of a camera but I still practice eye discipline as well and pretending one thing is the camera or a person
Hey bro, hi! I’ve been watching your videos like 6 months ago, so I moved to California and I am looking for some acting classes and some courses, I am making a lot of exercise just in case some role in movie needs a muscle guy, and I just turned to 18 years old, I am working very hard to get chances. What would you do? Would you take classes to know more about acting or would you take the auditions first? I am confusing a little bit but I am keeping head up. You are really helping people with dreams on movies, thank you for all your work and help!!
Diego casma I’m not the most experienced myself, but from what I’ve read in my research of acting schools, there are usually auditions and opportunities for work as part of the programs. So I’d personally go with classes first.
yeah, classes first so you wouldn't be confused during an audition and so you would do much much better at the audition and get more possibilities of receiving callbacks.
I had two years to get better at acting before quarantine in my acting classes but my shyness and anxiety stopped me🙂 I regret it so much and at this point I’m going crazy🙂 the only people that ever believed in me were the ones I barely knew or didn’t know at all🙃 anyways good luck everyone💜
Thank you for sharing! Your advices are very practical and fully driven to self-growing as an actor. This is a very long and hard way and this kind of videos helps me to believe in myself and in my point of view as an actor. We’re not alone, keep going and keep enjoying this wonderful career!
I want to be a tv/movie actress who is realistic, but focusing more on films/shows for teenagers or young adults (e.g. comedy or action). I want to be able to hear that the audience who saw my character come to life on the screen felt like the character's emotions were raw and genuine. I want to be proud of the work I do and I want to know how to start.
Do you memorize the script in order from when the scenes will be shot/filmed, first to last? Or memorize it from the beginning to the end - page 1 to 105 or however many pages?
It all depends on the situation. If I have enough time I usually tend to memorize my part straight from the beginning to the end. If I don’t have a lot of time and I have a shot list of when I’ll be needed for filming, I’ll memorize my part in terms of what will be coming next for me to film. Hope that helps 👍🏼
I like Highway Patrol on UA-cam in order to spot young outstanding acting talent, under paid, and over directed, and somehow finding work in California during the late 1950's. Unfortunately none of the notables of today were reused for additional episodes that I know of. I still can't believe Broderick Crawford had classical training, though he worked very successfully as a pudgy patrolman.
I really want to become an actress. And I think that I am passionate enough and have potential in that career field. I will be honest, I am actually avoiding watching good films😬. Mainly because they discourage me a lot, I would watch those films and then remember my 5 minute practice session in front of my bathroom mirror and realize that I wasn't that good😅 and would start doubting myself. Lol I'm 15 by the way😅😅😅
Remember you are in training, so there is no need to be perfect. If you just started learning piano today and it didn’t go well, you shouldn’t be discouraged, because you are in training :) same applies to acting. Stay strong and keep your head held high!

Man the guy you mentioned from point No#8 sounded like a real diva. Usually actors get to become divas once they have made a big name for themselves and not before they land a gig. He would lucky to get work as an extra considering his poor attitude.
Thanks for the help man, I've been trying to become an influencer as a kid and have got no training but I'm going to use your training I would like to be a UA-camr or a actor or something like that so thanks man
