Dr. Flowers, Tell us more about these "provisionist scholars" you speak of.
Provisionism is just him rewording pelagianism.
Historic Palagianism had 14 known doctrines. Provisionism doesn’t teach any of them.
He proves in this video that he has a low view of sin. Talking about a pagan able to resist temptation, it doesnt even come into his mind that even resisting temptation FOR THE WRONG REASONS is sin in and of itself. For him, sin is just outward actions. Stuff other people could find out about. It never dons on him that even the "good" someone does is tainted by sinful desires, motivations, etc.
Flowers is not “messing up”. He’s intentionally conning people
It’s that John 8:33 mentality. Who me? I’m free. Enslaved?
The Dr. Leighton Flowers backtrack and fix: you, the sinner, can stop kicking field goals and admit leftfootedness. Then Jesus will set you free. It’s not there in John 8 but it sure keeps the non-enslaved mentality alive and well.
