The Mahindra Roxor is a very heavy and low sitting side by side. The Roxor can do some serious 4x4 with a few upgrades including a stage 2 chip upgrade, lift, bigger mud tires, and some attachments to give it the best looking ride possible.

They also hit a hole the razors wouldn't attempt. Plus without the lockers you're gunna get stuck. Limited slip is horrible in mud. Priced lockers for my roxor this morning and front and back with all the hardware would be about $4,000.

Just because they do not know how to drive it, does not mean the Roxor is bad. Part of off roading is getting stick.

It's more of a jeep than the crap FCA "jeeps" on the road today. The Roxor is what a Jeep is supposed to be. Simple and rugged. Reasearch before you spout off crap you obviously know nothing about and save yourself some embarrassment.

Unfair review... The razors drove around the mud hole. They didn't even attempt the same path. I would have liked to had seen the razor challenge the exact same spot the Roxor was stuck in.... That would have been a fair comparison.... The Roxor most likely could have recovered on its own if it was equipped with aggressive off road mud tires....

Mate, that road you call "trail" is a piece of cake compared to the normal roads in the Himalayas, where these roxor\thar and their cousins earn their living by transporting goods and people up and down the mountains. Don't blame the axe :D

The diesel engine and the overall room are the benefits of the Roxor. But to make it truly off-road capable, it needs a variety of things (all of which are available), such as lockers, pure off-road tires, and a small lift. Those three things will make it the equal or better of most Polaris Rangers, etc. You have to think of the Roxor as an old Jeep CJ, and see the mods those have.
You need 2 Rzrs to pull out Roxor... But a single Roxor can pull out 2 Rzrs... It's a torq monster... It's a different league... Get lockers and some aggressive tires and a stage 2 tune... Wrooom wroomm...

This thing would outlive anything else. That diesel especially. I’d rather buy a Roxor and put a little money into getting lockers and good tires. That thing will go far. Good video still

You need atv or tractor tires... those all terrains are made for 40,000 on road miles.
I’m confident you don’t understand what “All Terrain” means but I’ll clarify. All terrain tires are more aggressive tires to allow for a comfortable highway ride but also allow you to use off road. If you want a 40k mile tire, this is definitely not it
RugChester I’m confident all terrains are not made for mud. You need a true off road tire. Are you suggesting the at tire you have is adequate? The video suggests otherwise..
I agree A/T are not made for mud as they are called All Terrain. Other than that I can’t talk to someone who is ignorant and thinks an A/T tire is made for the highway
I don't know why they call them all terrains, they are terrible in the mud. MT tires are the true all terrains.
Personally I love and hate M/T. Love them as they are the best but damn the rubber they leave on asphalt kills me lol
Mine stock doesn’t do good. Stock tires and no lockers. But show me a UTV with Dana 44 axles? My stock Ranger was grenading CV joints and even ripped the steering box off the frame.....K? The Roxor has broke NOTHING. It’s a way better platform to upgrade than a traditional UTV.

When he puts the lockers in he needs to put gears in it and put some dang tires on it. He was high centered . If the wheels ant on the ground you ant going anywhere it don't matter what you're driving

Opps. Open diffs and a high centering on the ridge between the ruts. In this case, I suspect that once you high centered the middle to the Roxor, even with lockers both front and rear, the only way out was a rope. It was so high centered, it was a teter todder. I myself like the Roxor, but at the minimum, it’s going to have a rear locker, if not both front and rear. The lockers would be the first upgrade, even before the “tune”.
Other off road drivers are going by the side of that huge muddy thing and ur roxor got stuck in the middle of that...u should have also gone sideways....actually u people r a every bad offroad driver not the roxor...u people dont even have warn winch...u r just an average highway driver...showing off that u can also offroad😂😂😂😂...useless drivers

Comparing Roxor and RZR is apples and oranges. RZR and types will run circles of anything else off road, however, a Roxor will last decades of hard use and should easily last 150k miles and rebuildable. A 2 cylinder CVT trans RZR would be done with 30k miles, frame and motor. Most UTVs come with lock diffs, That Roxor did not and you intended to do more than it's capable plus those were AT tires. A Roxor, like any other Jeep is essentially a general purpose use road vehicle that is off road capable, A RZR (and the like) are off road sport vehicle.
Currently, I have a 2014 Honda Pioneer 700-4 and love it. I stayed away from buying a RZR as they are always breaking down. Not a bad machine but they are heavily overrated. Also the driver in the video (not me) decided to stop in the water then gun it. I actually had to walk about 15 minutes to find him stuck LOL.
These are significantly heavier than your typical SXS.
Check out Red White’s video where he hesitates getting into deep mud because of the weight of the machine. His Roxor is fully kitted out for muddy terrain.

The Roxor is a much quieter and comfortable trail tractor. Razors are just too noisy and uncomfortable. Ox lockers , Governor removed and our Roxor does a great job.

or just learn to drive... drop tyre pressures, give it some right pedal, reverse, see-saw the steering wheel, use a hi lift jack.
geez, we got everywhere in samurais and 2 stroke LJ's well before lockers and bells and whistles. poor operation of equipment.
You have a stock roxor. Of course you will get stuck. Put the 5 1/2 in lift and appropriate size tires like 36 to 38 in tires and also diff lockers you won't have the issue. Also get it tuned for performance.
Lol what a joke it’s a completely stock roxor if you put the same tires on any of the other side by sides and they had open diffs like the stock roxor does it would be the same out come you must not mud very much in trucks or you would know that’s a silly comparison
Thanks for your input. The issue with this situation was the driver did not keep momentum. I’ll disagree with you on the tires as I’ve taken the same tires on other off road vehicles and went very far. Stay tuned more to come

My dude, the mud wasn't the problem. The driver was the problem. He high centered it. You high center anything and its going to need to be pulled out. No Winch, comealong, bog standard stock Roxor, and he drives into the middle of a mud puddle that he can't see what's below. A little common sense goes a long ways. Do a few basic upgrades like lockers and carry some basic recover tackel like a winch and maybe some snatch blocks. And maybe try going with a companion if you're going to traverse some sketch terrain. Don't blame the Roxor.
If you had winch roxor would have rescued itself. By the way, it is a high way car in other part of the world. It is a forced side by side here in US.

Well, they were two, the filming guy was trying to follow in a Tacoma. They should have had some sort of communication (CB) and kept in touch. When one of the vehicle can no longer keep up, it's time to turn around.

True story. After editing I spoke with the driver and he said “I stopped and it wouldn’t go” yeah it’s his fault not the Roxor but It’s got a tune on it and does super great off road (with an educated driver)

Well in defense of the Roxor I assume u got your front and rear pumpkins on hard dirt. Any truck with that much clearance would catch. You can keep your razors, ill keep my Roxor. The IFS side by sides are to expensive to fix and the CJ like jeeps are easily upgradable. You have to be smart when wheeling and know your depths before you enter deep water. I've bottomed out my Silverado on deep ruts but that doesn't mean I won't buy one. You also don't wheel solo as you seen in the UTV club. Roxors are hear to stay

Roxors and razors even though are put in the same class as SXS are a different machine for different purposes. There is really nothing to compare the Roxor to!! Depending on where you go and what level each machine is upgraded to you might find it won't go some places a razors or other SXS will go even in rocks and some trails and visa versa. Apples have to be compared to apples and in this case not to much compares to the Roxor to compare it to !!!

I'm from india my family is been driving it for generations. Its rugged, and its built to last. I even bought a street legal versio n, i go to the office everyday and offloading on the weekends.
This is a real jeep. Just thinking about buying, upgrading, & making it street legal makes me 😍🤤🥴. All of that and it'll still be cheaper than today's jeep.
