Puddle of Mudd is so bad that Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan defecated on stage, smeared it onto his shirt, and threw it, contained in a bag into the crowd at Reading Fest, 2002, proclaiming something along the lines of "There's plenty of more shit to see today after us!" because they were performing a set after TDEP.
I got into metal through Nu metal and although I don't listen to any of it now, I can't bring myself to hate bands like Korn or System Of A Down. I always though Deftones were garbage though

I still like the first two Korn albums, and I’m still admittedly a big Deftones fan to this day lol.
But I can’t stand SOAD, Serj is one of the worst vocalists in hard rock/metal imo.

Same, I don’t listened to them anymore but I don’t think that they are trash, Korn gives me early 2000 nostalgia and are fun to listen to.
Soad is still a really great band in general.
There are some band I listened to at the time that now I find extremely cringe like Disturbed
I never heard of most of these bands you listed. But back in my high school years, Marilyn manson use to be the hottest selling music in hot topic. Now and days people like me just moved on and found better taste in metal. I moved on to european metal like helloween, blind guardian, children of bodom, gamma ray, and the list goes on and on.
Honestly I can’t say I wholeheartedly hate any band. But FFDP comes pretty close! I’m throwing in psycho synner too because they’re both the same thing let’s be honest!
Silencer and then any eleven Pornogrind bands and you got my list

12 bands I hate (rock and metal): Guns n Roses, Kiss, Maroon 5, Anthrax, Slipknot, Six Feet Under, DragonForce, Mayhem, any goregrind band, any porngrind band, most metalcore bands, most deathcore bands.
Marilyn manson is not emo it’s industrial rock and gothic rock, deftones are also not emo they are a alternative metal band.
Marilyn Manson is not Gothic Rock. If you think Marilyn sounds anything like The Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxie & The Banshees etc., than your either delusional or your lying to yourself

I love Deftones but I understand they are a love them or hate them type band.
As someone who likes more of the underground metal scene, I've never listened to any of these bands, beaten to death goes hard

I could list all the Metal Core bands as I don't like the genre. Doesn't make sense. So I went for some bands, where I like the genre, but don't like the band.
Ghost - I love 70s hard rock, but I don't get Ghost. Terrible stuff.
QOTSA/Kyuss - Love Doom and Stoner rock, don't get these two bands. Saw them live, was boring as hell.
Sabaton - Power Metal is great, but singalong songs about war and battles? No way. I'd rather listen to Helloween first and then to some 1914.
Mayhem - Oooh, we are so evil, so we don't need to write proper songs. No thanks. I'd rather listen to Enslaved or Windir.
Symphony X - Love Dream Theater, hate S X. Those cheesy keyboards? Come on!
Disturbed - Love Korn or SOAD, but Disturbed suck.David has an annoying voice, but thinks he can sing. This is why he made this cheesy cover of Sound of Silence. Absolute sacrilege.

Came to see Six feet under in this list. Not disappointed
BabyMetal and Limp Bizkit are the 1st two I think of when it comes to dog manure. Next would be Five Finger Death Punch and Sabaton (or any power metal band really).
I haven’t even started the video (I will right now) but I already need to say: if the worst isn’t Six Feet Under, something’s wrong here.

aw naw manson got me into metal with his 90's live performances, wich I think are the best things he has done, but man, 80% of his music is really trash, hot trash. The rest is between just not good and somehow enjoyable songs.

@@Stefan979- Obituary are awesome. Their first two albums are generally regarded as their best, but all of their albums are decent at the least. Their latest which came out last year was pretty damn killer.
Besides, John Tardy's vocals blow everything Chris Barnes has done out of the water/

@@Stefan979- I love early Cannibal Corpse, but Chris Barnes has never been a particuarly strong vocalist in my opinion. In the early days he was serviceable, but his Floridian contemporaries like Tardy, Schuldiner, Benton and Vincent defintely have him beat imo.
Hard disagree on Manson. I love his work, even at his worst (High End Of Low imo).
Considering US and Scandinavia have massive cultural differences, you have to give him credit for actually triggering a lot of fundamentalists, he was scapegoated for a lot of stuff during the 90s and the Columbine thing.
Musically speaking, Antichrist Superstar is a masterpiece, everyone needs to listen to it.

Replace Deftones (who are admittedly overrated still) with Falling in Reverse or Motley Crue and this would be my same list.

If I had to vote, I'd do it for Korn, Limp Bizkit (f that's even metal) and Slipknot.

I've fallen lovingly back down the Black Metal hole (after 13 years of child rearing, life etc etc), basically can't stand most Nu Metal- Puddle of Mudd, Korn all that rubbish, Ghost (WTF are they), Six Feet Under, all the faux punk stuff Green day, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance, Offspring, Fall Out Boy that lot, Paramore, Linkin Park, Deftones, Lambrini Girls.... not all metal I know but they all tend to be lumped into that category...
I feel semi cheated that most these bands are only like tangentially metal, but still good selection of shit bands. Do like Manson though and am indifferent on Buckcherry, rest can suck my ball.
Cheating as it’s not metal, but Blood on the Dance Floor has to be the worst band ever. I guess they aren’t even a band though since neither of them play instruments

I dont like Babymetal, bands with too high vocals, Grind, around 99% of Metalcore, Dissonant Death Metal

Steel Panther is worse than any of those bands. Yeah I know they are a "joke" band but their songs just aren't funny. They just try to be as crude as possible for a laugh. I would rather listen to Weird Al or even Tenacious D

@@Rafael-kr6zv Worse than that: it's bland, mediocre and regurgitated. Some bands' albums sort of grow one from another and that turns out mostly great (I'd say Tsjuder is a great example of that), but Nergal is basically up to stamping movie/elevator music at this point

@@Rafael-kr6zv Behemoth was what got me into heavy music and beyond around 16 years ago, I truly cannot even guesstimate the amount of times I've listened to each of their records. I would still say, now that my bias and maximalism is gone, not everything made was "good" per se (Satanica isn't their strongest record, though I absolutely love 'The alchemist dream' and 'LAM'. Two following albums had questionable execution too). Early behemoth up to Pandemonic Incantations I find rather authentic within the scene and interesting, loving it to bits still. In music, finding objectivity can be (and is for the most part ) a rhetorical task, however we can more or less safety assume that the period of early to late 2000 (Particularly Demigod and Apostasy) was where Nergal's musicianship excelled and has indeed set a very high standard.
Satanist was perhaps the most vivid comeback in the extreme music scene, this time around not owing it solely to successful marketing. The album was good.
We are all human, we grow old, change, excrete and wither away. I'm guessing age and all the experiences, business deeds as well as vicious attempts to display juvenility plagued Nergal's ability to create art whilst preserving crucial integrity and, if you will, behemoth's leitmotif. But oh well. As Petrus would have it, "Everything dies"

Seriously though, utter shite. "Cock-rock in corpse paint" is how I once heard them described, and perfectly so. Even mediocre bands like Graveland and Goatmoon can at least keep you interested enough to listen to a full album, even if it never lives up to the hype. Never been able to listen to more than a few minutes of Gay Barry's Keychain without turning off. Doesn't even sound like black metal. Shit band, shit artwork (seriously, how do you even manage to make jesus in corpsepaint look so fucking lame?!), shit song titles, shit band members, shit riffs, shit vocals
