i'm 21 and living at home, commuting to community college for the past few years as well as working 30ish hours as a barista. i love your vlogs because they remind me that it's completely possible in my future to live life as a queer woman freely, surrounded by people who love and accept you, and to also be so realistic. what i've realized is that the discipline you have is what rules your life. nobody wants to run 3 or 7 or 12 miles or do work or spend a fraction of your day cooking meals. but the way you structure your day, esp your morning/night routines seem to be really helpful. i also take inspiration that you seem to allow a mix of pleasure/social activites with your work day. i typically force myself to have a section of my week (4-5 days) focused on working/studying and another (2-3) only on seeing friends and relaxing. in theory it sounds good but it's not realistic. your schedule/structure has really opened my eyes to be more realistic as well as even more disciplined. you are a very emotionally and academically intelligent person, as well as structured and disciplined person. to see a queer/gay person thriving gives me hope for my future.
wow thank you for the thoughtful comment! it is absolutely possible to live life as a queer woman freely. being that representation is a big reason why i started making content in the first place so i'm so glad to hear you say that it helps. and yes, i think structure and routine brings me a lot of peace and allows me to free up my headspace for other things since i know my workout/food/whatever is taken care of. but balance is so important! i struggle with that as well. sometimes it feels like all I want to do is work, but then i end up burnt out. so happy to hear you found some hope from my vlogs. rooting for you! cheers
@@claire_holt12OMGGGG YOU HAVE HELPED ME SO MUCHH AS A 13 YEAR OLD LESBIANNN WITH MY STYLE ,SEXUALITY AND JUST OVERALL LIFEEE ILY AND THANK YOU SO MUCH 😭😘
I was born and raised in San Diego (I’m from Del Mar and my house overlooks the ocean) so seeing this makes me miss home so bad right now. For context I go to university in the MidWest at the moment and my winter break is soooo close and I’m lowkey really depressed cause of school right now, so seeing home is really comforting.😭💜 Thanks for this Claire.
omggggggg yes the running segment from this vlog was in Del Mar (im sure u recognize it haha). I can't imagine being in the midwest after living in san diego. there's no place like SD!!! at least you might get some seasons and cold weather! thanks for the comment!
Similar situation to you, I left my corporate 9-5 job at the beginning of the year and now work veryyy part time while freelancing / creating, and to me I feel like its about balancing money work and creative endeavors. Like not only making money in one place so you don't feel too pressured in one way or another, so keep it up love following the journey!!
love this vlog and the adventures you are having!! well spoken about the 9 to 5 grind and passion balancing act, it resonates. i laughed at the oreos+book combo, that was me as well
hahaha oreos + book is ultimate comfort combo. and yes the balancing act is always a point of frustration for me. i love getting comments from u! thanks for following along!
i think something very real that not a lot of content creators are realizing (or maybe they are) is the current political climate and how thats going to affect their careers and abilities to get brand deals (esp not huge creators like urself) but i work in marketing and the first department they always cut back on costs are marketing and that includes their partnerships with content creators. if you do choose to pursue this i highly encourage you to move past fashion esp if you (as you mentioned to one of my comments in a previous video) get burnt out from it. pursue your passion in its entirety. if you aren't passionate about fashion, the industry, its history or significance- you shouldnt have that be your main topic. if these vlogs are more fun for you, stay with it! its more enjoyable for viewers like myself anyway.
the other thing i want to mention that will most definitely affect the type of fashion influencer that you are (an emphasis on entry level fashion) is the definitive rise of personal style that will occur and what that means is less people looking for inspiration, less people buying, less people caring for the trends that you share or copying people online- fashion influencing will not be sustainable with the upcoming tariffs AND the push to stop supporting companies like abercrombie that have CEOs that are charged with s*x trafficking
I feel like such a geek when I get excited that you replied! I hope you know how cool it is for me 😅😅 honestly feel like you r a close homie and wish we knew each other irl❤😂 I hope you have a great week dude! Always a fan when you new shit drops 🤙🏾
Ngl im tryna get into Amazon rn to find my content creation career. So don’t worry, idk if it makes you feel better but times really have been tough. I was just about at 60 applications myself lol but I have faith in your future Claire. You just have…. It.

Aww, I definitely was really upset that day after the election!
same here
Hi! What’s the song starting at around 3:44?
“your pain is mine now” by daniel on soundcloud
my masc crush sent this to me...
Claire!!!
hi!
He didnt win that big and the majority of voting age people didnt vote at all.
He won the popular vote by about 4 million and voter turnout is estimated to be around 62.3%, which is more than majority!
@@claire_holt12 116 million people didn't vote at all and then you have the 71 million that voted for kamala so no...not the majority. Do the math.
