One of the reasons why aliens was such a great movie was also because of the actors. Watching this trailer I am not so sure about it but let’s see.

I’m hoping it keeps the same sci-fi/horror tone consistently like the first one.
The director stated it will be it's own thing, but you can also be right. Maybe he's just not allowed to say much about it.
Since it is supposed to take place between the time of 'Alien' and 'Aliens'- and something about 'colonizers' (as mentioned in Wikipedia), perhaps it's about what happened to them. Remember Ripley found 'Newt' as the only survivor in 'Aliens'.
The girl in the trailer could be 'Newt' you might be onto something. But I did read it's doing it's own thing. I'm sure more details will come out soon. Thanks for watching the video.
