Claudia nawenberg that would be fantastic to see you in class. There will always be people in class with more and others with less experience than you (I assume).
I always get confused because the pirouettes from 4th, the leg that’s behind that goes to passé, right? And then in pirouettes from 5th it’s the leg that’s closed in front that goes to passé? Or it depends on what my professor wants? lol im so confused
Most students get confused as you do. The passé is done with the back leg 90% of the time. Regular pirouettes, it always the back leg that does the passé EXCEPT in pirouette en dehors from 5th position. I hope this helps.
I was confused about this exact thing because we started out obviously learning in fourth and that derrière leg is in passé but then when we do fifth I get really confused especially at the barre.
u even wear 2 different shoes to show the actions clearly!!! so thoughtful and helpful!!! as I always would mix up left and right...
exactly for that reason :)
Thank you Franziska! That's a really helpful breakdown and very clear demonstration (as always). Amazing teaching!

@Dieu Dao, thank you for your kind comment. I am sorry I cannot reply directly as comments don't seem to show. It must be a UA-cam problem.
hey, lovely vid
slow motion is really, if you try to learn by video..without chichi and very well understandable
Thanks. And it takes some courage to show oneself in slow motion. But whatever it takes to help the students ;)
I really got to join a lesson when in the UK. although I might be pretty much behind everyone else....😊
